mounting water color board?

I am creating a two part painting that will need to have both parts parallel and it is best if none of the image is hidden and there is no border. The images are on watercolor board in acrylic.

If these were on canvases, it would be easy to hang them. But this part is complicated. i need to draw both images before painting, but i would like to cut off the border to do that.

I'm having trouble visualizing the effect you're going for. Are you saying you want the two pieces to abut each other, or simply to be framed without a mat? I know a few different ways to finish and hang things, so if you can give some clarification I might be able to help.

I know of one artist that did something similar, if I'm understanding you correctly. She made her borders with jagged edges though.... with a razor, to make it look old.. and then glued the two together on a painted plywood. It was different, I'll give her that much.
