Mountain scenery

Can anyone here who lives near mountains post their mountain pictures, whether they are taken from the valley or up on the high summits? Here are some pictures taken from the Lake District of England about 2 weeks ago - we got four seasons in one day!

I love the Lake District, around Derwent Water, especially in winter. I remember climbing Skiddaw in January and sliding all the way down on sheet ice!

Hmm... This is frustrating! I had a couple years of pictures scanned and they seem to have disappeared. I'll have to try to dredge them up again.

In the meantime, this is from a trip up Mount Athabasca in the Canadian Rockies. Pardon the colours - for whatever reason, the snow looks blue and I'm not skilled enough in Photoshop to fix it.

I've got a Photoshop-created panoramic of a valley in the Blue Mountains, Australia which I'll post when I figure out how to make it a bit smaller than 37 MB. There are some fantastic photo opportunities there that I haven't explored yet.

The one I've out up's a panoramic facing east at the Hawkesbury Lookout in the Blue Mountains. I merged them in Photoshop, so there's a bit of contrast difference where the pics merge, but I'm happy with it. On a clear day you can see Sydney about 40 miles away, but I don't think it shows up too well on this pic.
