My most embarrassing moment......Here goes,
I was working at a children's camp a few summers ago. We had just finished playing an incredibly exhausting game of capture the flag, and everyone was now lined up for the evening snack. The director asked me to give thanks for the snack, and so I walk up in front of everyone, tongue still sticking to the roof of my mouth from running almost nonstop for over an hour, and begin by saying "Lord, thank you for that wonderful game of capture the flag". Unfortunately, in my exhaustion, my mouth didn't pronounce the "L" in the word "Flag". Fortunately the campers were young enough that none of them heard what I had said. As for the staff... one of them literally fell to the ground laughing, and the rest weren't far behind. It took me a few minutes before I could stop laughing for long enough to finish giving thanks.
