If you're talking all-time, I'd probably say KISS. If not, I'd probably go with Manson, although that only lasted for about three years before people pretty much started ignoring him.

Just like Marilyn Manson when I saw him on Mtv on there first release of Get your Gun and him and Twiggy were tongue kissing each other and groping one another. Then they came out with there second album titled Smells like Children. Or how about the first album track " Cake and Sodomy". That is so morally correct and seems like a good thing for a 15 girl or boy to listen to.

I would actually probably say Madonna. Nobody pays enough attention to Cradle of Filth or Marilyn Manson for them to be all that controversial.

Marilyn Manson lives off the image he has created for himself. He is definitely a "shock-rocker" but in no way should be recognized, controversial or otherwise. I see no talent behind the "shock-rocker" persona.
