yes, that's a cool thing, lambslove. Bless you to have the opportunity to see something as awesome as that! the nearest sky phenomenon i've seen was a couple of shooting stars.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Bible says that the stars are going to fall into the sea, and shooting stars are a bit of a preview of that!

I think nature itself is beautiful. Its amazing how God could be so imaginative to think up all the creatures that inhabit this earth.
I like to watch children play. When you see how carefree they are as they throw a hoop in the air, or play tag. The happiness of the innocent is pure.
It's wonderful when we do what we were meant to do and praise Him. Watching someone praise Christ can bring as much joy to my heart as the one that is praising Him.

oh, and the falling stars are going to burn bright against the sky and they're gonna be wayyyy bigger than ANY shooting stars!
great reminder there lambslove, haven't thought of that.mld3three, didn't Jesus say that only those coming before God with a child-like attitude will they be admitted into heaven? childhood's so innocent and children look at a life in a way totally different to the adults.

Once I saw a butterfly storm. I was living on Lake Erie, near downtown Cleveland. I lokked out my window, and as far as the eye could see, there were thousands of monarch butterflies! As high up and as distant as my eyes could see, the butterflies were flocking after their migration over the lake. And it was a desnse flock, I would guess twenty butterflies per cubic yard. It was like a blizzard of butterflies.
