You need:
1 pen

Paper (most likely Din4)
The rule sheet
Rules
Fast Game
You play by the rules of real Golf (Handicap, Par, Stableford, Water, out of Bounds ..)
Before you begin: Draw on a piece of paper a Golf hole with water hazards, bunkers, trees, tee of, out of bounds, green and a hole (0.2 - 0.3 cm)
Name the hole: Stroke, Par and Sponsors (
How you shoot: Take the pen into your strong hand and wipe it fast over the paper. When you think you have reached the spot you want your ball to land, lift the pen of the paper.
Water: One penalty shot and you have to drop the ball in front of the water
Bunker: Repeat the shot from the previous position (not a mulligan!!!!)
Trees: See Bunker
On Green: Shoot with your weaker hand.
Out of bounds: See Trees
Ultimate Moschi P. GOLF
You have 6 clubs in your set:
Nr. 1 Driver
Nr. 2 Fairway Wood 5
Nr. 3 Iron 4
Nr. 4 Iron 7
Nr. 5 Pitching Wedge
Nr. 6 Putter
(I will refer all the clubs with their actual numbers i.e. Driver would be 1 and PW would be 5)
Hole lengths:
Par 3 13 22 cm
Par 4 27 35 cm
Par 5 38 48 cm (a par 5 would unfortunately not fit an a Din4, but if you tape 2 together it works)

A shot on the Green:
Behind each club is a number in cm, which you have to add to your shot, in order to keep Moschi P Golf as real as possible. In real Golf, the ball doesnt come to an abrupt halt if you shot with your driver. Use the actual line of your shot and draw the additional lengths the way your line would actually continuo.
1. + 4 cm
2. + 3 cm
3. + 2 cm
4. +1 cm
5. +- 0 cm
Trees:
Each tree has a height, and so, you also have to have a certain height in order to get over that tree. As each club has a different club angle the length you need to get to that certain height differs. Trees can have a diameter any size from 2 to 6 cm wide.
Length in front of the tree to shoot over it: 1. 6 cm
2. 4.5 cm
3. 3.5 cm
4. 2.5 cm
5. 1 cm
These you measure from the front edge of the tree.
Length you have to have behind the tree: 1. 5 cm
2. 4 cm
3. 3 cm
4. 2 cm
5. 1 cm
These you measure from the back side of the tree.
Rules of shooting the ball:
Place the pen there from where you have to shoot the ball. Either on the tee of, behind the polls, or there where the ball has landed or has been dropped.
Before each shot, you have to select a club.
Rule of 2 tries:
You only get two tries to meet all rules. If not, the two tries count as one shot, but you are still in your previous position.
When do I get 2 tries?
If you shoot the ball and your line is longer than the length described in the rules above you must shoot again. The point where the ball has landed does not matter.
If the position of the ball cannot be surely determined by all of the players, you get your 2nd try.
If you break any tree rule (you dont have the prescribed length before and after the tree) you get another try. (Even if you land afterwards in water, bunker or rough, or in the hole
If you land in water, in a bunker or in the rough and you meet all the rules, there is no 2nd try.
There is no 2nd try on a put.
You get no 2nd try when your ball lands in an out of bounds area.
The Put:
If you are on the green, you have to use your putter. You shoot with your weaker hand of yours. In order to hole in, your line has to be seen in the hole.
The circle of the hole has to have a diameter of 0.2 0.3 cm.
If you shoot the ball and it passes through the hole it is holed in.
BUT, if the length of this line (measured from the back of the hole) is higher than 1 cm, it is not holed in. You then carry on from the point where your line has ended.
i.e.: Shot goes 0.7 cm over the hole = holed in
Shot goes 1.1 cm over the hole = not holed in
Rough and Out of Bounds:
If the ball lands in the rough and is further away than 2 cm from the fairway (measured from the nearest point) it is out of bounds.
Dropping:
If you missed your 2nd try as well, you get to shoot from the initial position.
If you land in a water hazard you can either drop the ball in front of the water (always further away from the green) or shoot the ball from its initial position (not a mulligan)
If your ball lands in an out of bounds area, you can either drop it, or hit it from its initial position.
If you land in the bunker, you are not allowed to drop the ball or re-hit it.
Penalty Shots:
You get a penalty of on shot (or stroke) when your ball lands in the water or in an out of bounds area.
Other Rules:
The fairway has to be always in reach of a shot, from any position.
The holes can be created anyway the creator wishes. (That is the fun part of it.)
You can hole in from the fairway, rough or bunker, if you meet all the putting rules (you must not shoot with your weak hand, though). But take in consideration that as the ball lands on the green, you always have to add, the additional length for green running (see: A shot on the green).
Commentary from the creator of Moschi P. GOLF:
This is supposed to be a fun game and not being ruled by the rules. Feel free to change the rules to suit your character. Take in consideration that all the lengths and rules I have chosen, lead to a game that makes you feel as if you are playing Golf.
Have fun playing!!!!
