Has any one seen or hurd anything about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion? It looks fun!
yeah, i got the game informer....

all the screenshots look just like morrowind, but with goregeous graphics, if you see the pics, you'll see some immediate resemblence to morrowind, one pic has the PC holding a silver claymore, and you can tell easily because it looks just like the morrowind one but better looking...

i sure hope bethesda clears up all the bugs and gameplay problems

Anyway.. I've beaten the main quest (twice) and I've beaten Tribunal. I never really got around to Solstheim (From Bloodmoon). Does anyone else play on PC? Played any good mods?
bloodmoon will chew you up and spit you out, tough stuff, no matter how easy it was to 'beat' the main quests of tribunal and morrowind, bloodmoon is for hardcore players only...level 50+ at least (well, at least to have moderate difficulty)

as for mods...i downloaded one called Leafy Morrowind, and Forested Morrowind, which chaned ALL the ashlands to dense forests, and it adds a whole lot more trees with new models. It adds no gameplay stuff or new items, but i sure does make traveling through the ashlands alot more enjoyable, without having to see the boring grey landscape everywhere

thanx for the hint! i found the place, but what do i do after i kill the two ppl who attack me?

i have a feeling that i have to pick the lock on the chest (its a level 10 lock, therefore i think it has the stolen money in it, but in the beginning of the game i lost my pick because i was screwing around with it and dropped it on the ground and i dont know what happened to it.... is there any place where i can buy a new one? do i have to go back and get it? or is the chest unimportant? can anyone help me? that would be great thanx!

I would go to a mages guild or something and buy a spell of opening, like something fairly good. That way you can reuse it. I've got good stats, so I can use that over and over, and then I've gotten to the point, where I have a 100 point unlock and lock level, which is dumb that you can lock stuff because no one get into it anyway. But I would personnaly spend money on a spell instead, because picks can be used only so much, and scrolls only once.

Well said, but if you whant to get another pick lock go and look at the place that is right across the street to the big 6 laged thing that you ride, in balmora. You'll have to ask around tho.

Or what you can do is go into the thieves guild and compleat that and you are given a really cool pick lock! but thats kinda hard to do...

But if i were you, I'd go with the spell!

I have a question, Tribonius, is that it? Anyway, before I became arch master of the mages guild and stuff, Tribonius sends you on a quest to find out about the disappearance of the dwarves. Is it actually possible to find the answer, I find a guy who lives a lone in this tower thing. I asked him about it, and he gives good information, I head back to Tribonious, and all he says is, what was that i sent you on, oh yes you need to find out the dissappearnce of the dwarves.

you have to give him a few rare dwarven books.
but somewhere i heard that you're not supposed to get orders from him, you're supposed to get your skills up enough to become an arch-mage and then talk to him, he'll challenge you to a duel and if you win, you become master. And you get his nice staff and a kewl amulet to boot.
or it could be a bug, morrowind is chock-full of them

Trebonius's quest.......

You have to get 3 books. All of which are attained by finishing Edwinas quest (Ald-Ru'hn Mage Guild). Then take them to the guy in Gnsis....After that, you go back to Trebonius and complete it.....I finished it. It gets you tons of rep points.

You can also battle him for Arch-Mage when you get the right advancement, or the better way is to beat all of Sink-In-Tree's quests, you'll become archmage without fighting him. Supposedly, after you beat the MQ, he gives you another quest.

You mean that you will get tons of rep points if you finish the mage guild or if you finish the mage guild that way?

probably a bug....did you download the patch yet? It'd really help with all the little **** that messes up the game

or, maybe you're not at the right place....or maybe you don't have a certain journal entry that initiates the script for that quest, or maybe....

too many things

what does it say in your journal? did it tell you to kill 3 or 4 people or did it say to get something?
