Morrowind, anyone?

I came across the review for this game about a year or so back, hadn't heard much about it again until one of my friends started raving about it to me. I knew it had to be good, so, he gave me a copy... And, i beat the main quest within two months, without cheating.

Anyone else play it? What are your thoughts? Enjoy any of the numerous after-quests?

Haven't played it. I did have the original Arena, though, and loved it. I ordered it some months ago, but found out I couldn't play it on my Windows 98.

I played it for about 40 hours. I liked it alot, but something else came along that replaced it, I never beat the game.

Love the game.. It's great. Beat the main quests for Morrowind and Tribunal. I haven't beaten Bloodmoon yet, and I've sort of stopped playing, but you never know. When a good mod comes out I might have to come back to it.

I liked the thief, but I could never find anything to do with all the money I had

Yeah that took up quite a few months of my life. The modding community is fantastic.

Morrowind is probably one of my all-time favorite PC games. I've sunk LOTS of time into it and never really started the main quest. I love how, if you don't like something about the game, you can fire up the editor and change it.

I usually play theif-type characters with a side of magic. I tried a straight-up fighter character but the game seemed too easy after a short while.

Yes, morrowind is a great game, haven't finished it yet even thought i have had it for quite some time. And for RTM: If the game is too easy with a warrior, just adjust the difficulty slider (of course you have to apply the latest patch before the slider appears to the options)

Morrowind is one of the gratest RPG games of all time. Id suggest getting it for PC if your system can handle it. I updated my graphics card and it runs great. You can edit whatever you want and make your own mods. On XBOX it crashes a lot, at least on mine it did. I beat Morrowind and Tribunal, i have yet to beat Bloodmoon.

Gotta love Morrowind if you love rpgs. I haven't beat it yet but I plan to eventually. Unless I get too caught up in Fable.

Yeah its a great game, but i've stopped playing for a while, because I installed the addon to see what it was like (after I completed the game) and I keep on getting attacked by these really irritating assasins every time I sleep, and its annoying.

Yes Morrowind is a very nice game, lovely graphics sound, and atmosphere, it gives a great sense of adventure.

I've played the game a couple of years ago and completed the main plot and as many side quests as I could find of the orrigional on the PC. I sold the game, but the 'Game of the Year' version, with all the expansions included, is tempting me back to play again.

The benefit of playing the game this late after the realease is that PC hardware has caught up with the game, and should be able to produce very high frame rates.

Don't you hate those cliff racers though, Grrr.

I quite like Morrowind, I used a cheat to make my sword level over 300.

But once Fable comes out, I'm going to be ditching Morrowind.

Oh right. I think I remember reading about that game...like three years ago. Then I played Morrowind and forgot all about it. I honestly haven't followed gaming very much in the past few years. I guess Fable isn't coming out on PC, eh? I vowed that the PS2 would be my last system in a loooong time. I just want to stick to PC.

Wow, that does look pretty cool. I'm thinking cool like Shenmue, and that's pretty darn cool. (Now I just have to convince myself that I don't really need an X-Box.......here we go again.)
