How far into pregnancy do you usually start to experience morning sickness? Someone told me a week after conception, but that seems a little soon to me.

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A week is probably too soon. There isn't enough of the "pregnancy hormone" in your system by that time to cause any symptoms.
For me it was around 5 weeks and I think that's the norm: 5-7, something like that. It can start at any time and can come and go but typically it's around then and tends to taper off around the end of the first trimester for most people.

On my first one none at all, 2nd was about 4 weeks. This one was 3 weeks.
I felt it sooner because I was on Progesterone this round so my counts were already doubled by 11dpo. Some people do because they have a higher HgC and progesterone count than others. So it could be possiable that some people could have a week later .
It truely depends on your hormones and that changes with each period and each pregancy.

I started feeling sick around 8 weeks. I'm almost 11 weeks now and I'm still feeling sick.. just not as bad..

I started feeling it around the time my period was due. I have low blood sugar, though, so some of my sickness was related to that rather than hormones.

Most people notice breast tenderness first.....
that's what I noticed first, and then I had this overwhelming NEED for orange juice and so I bought a test at the same time as the OJ because I felt different.

wow your the only other person that knew cause of the NEED for OJ!I still was aprehensive but man it almost felt my body coudn't get enough of it. My doctor told me to keep drinking it, my body needed the nutients.

With both it started at 5-6 weeks. With Isabel it ended at nearly 24 weeks, with this one 15 weeks (which was a nice change ).

My morning sickness kicked in a 7 weeks each time, and was gone by 14 weeks (diminished by 10 weeks).

I learned only yesterday that I am for sure expecting. I had a feeling as this is my second but it's been years since my daughter was born. I have a little bit of stomach upset but keeping myself hydrated(best I can) and eating crackers before I roll out of bed is keeping things down. I'm just at 6 weeks.
