  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Morning again

Sniff Sniff ahhh morning again. I jump up out of bed with the smell of fresh
coffee in the air, put on my rose colored glasses and I'm off. That's the
way many of us are. In fact, most of us are.

Our rose colored glasses wont let us see things right, and then all of a
sudden life smacks us in the face.
Many times in the Bible you will see hard times not good ones, but in the
end those that stay true to the Lord always come out on top. Lets look at
the story of Joseph. (Read Geneses 37 - 48) Now here's a real rags to
riches story. Now lets look at Moses. (Read Exodus 2 - Deuteronomy 34)
Moses and his people wondered in the desert for 40 years. Talk about down
and out.
In both of these we can clearly see, Gods hand working for the better good
of those that kept faith. Here's a little limerick to remember, "When in
doubt pray it out". In both these examples you'll see Joseph and Moses kept
faith and more importantly they spoke with god. We must always keep the
lines of communication open to the Lord, and then keep faith. He will hear
you and be by your side, in time you'll look back and see he was there with
you. Take your glasses off right now and pray wont you? Nobody ever said it
would be easy when you came to Christ, but he is always there for and with
you.

May the Lord richly bless you today
