No it doesn't. So if these people who are committing terrorist acts are not Muslims why don't the real Muslims stand up and say that the terrorists are not Muslims? That they are not following their founder Muhammad teachings? Why don't they do that, it would go a long way to help their cause?

I posted similar sentiments in another thread on terrorism and I was accused of being a terrorist sympathizer and hater of America.The majority of terror attacks in the US are not commited by Islamists. Anti-government, antiabortion, and white supremacist are all proportionally worthy of concern in that arena. Maybe in other countries the statistics are different but if you are interested in addressing the problem in this country Islamist radicals are merely one threat among others.
Not to mention the whole issue of terrorism has been massively sensationalized and blown out of proportion. I'm much more concerned about street crime for example (around 300 mass shootings this year and the vast majority were not terrorism just regular crime ) but you don't see politicians making a big deal about that much more prevalent problem. It's all about using terrorism for votes, to keep cash flowing into the defense budget, to erode civil liberties (2nd Amendment, privacy,..) etc..
Just because a person or group call themselves "Christian", does not mean they are. Darkness can disguise itself as light. Know the tree by its fruit.

I never said that they are not speaking out against terrorist groups or against violence, they have been doing that for years. They keep claiming that Islam is a peaceful religion.They do. All the time. But people hear what they want to hear.

Similar to the ones such as we see here in the forums, those who call themselves christians yet would not feed the poor through any sort of government program because they just can not see the failings of the church to fulfill the directive of Jesus to do so. But all I can do is go by what they identify as. I believe there are many people who identify themselves as Muslims that are peaceful people and do not want to kill anyone but that does not make Islam itself a religion that is non-violent, as much as they want it to be.

They cannot do that and be honest. Muhammad was a violent man. He taught violence and the spread of Islam by violence. He is the founder and the teacher/writer of Islam. Muhammad defines Islam.
There isn't any Islam without Muhammad, just like there isn't any Christianity without Christ.

That you beleive True Islam TM demands acts of terrorism is irrelevant. Millions of Muslims don't accept your understanding of Islam. They generally don't let non-Muslims who disapprove of their religion define "True Islam" for them anymore then you would allow a Muslim opponent of Christianity to define True Christianity for you.
