Hi,

Here's my considered opinion:

1- Is God a boy or a girl?

He's an oldish kind of man. Neither a boy or a girl. He's actually very old but he's also a spirit so he can take any form he likes.

2- Did God create dinosuars with Adam and Eve?

No, dinosaurs were created more than 70 million years before humans.

3- Why did God create everything?

Because he is God and by definition, God is a creator.

4- How did God get his name?

It's an English word. The Hebrew word is Jehovah. The Arabic word is Allah. That's all I know. Oh, I know Latin too. We study Classics in school. It's Deus in Latin.

5- Where did God go before all creation?

He sat in his own timeless spaceless vault.

6- Is God a spirit?

Yes, he is.

7- Did satan create all the demons?

No, the demons are fallen angels. You can read about them in Milton's Paradise Lost. It's kind of tough because it's one huge massive poem in an oldish language but if you have good teachers, they'll take you through it. You can learn the names of the demons too. The lieutenant to Satan is Beelzebub.

1- Is God a boy or a girl?

God is metaphysical, therefore God has no sexual organs or brain chemistry, hence no gender. We use the pronouns "He" and "Him" simply because we don't know what else to say. God exhibits tributes of both genders. The Bible compares His wisdom and protection to that of a father figure, but His love and care to that of a mother figure.

2- Did God create dinosuars with Adam and Eve?

If God created human beings, I'm sure he also created dinosaurs. (Through either evolution or some other process.)

3- Why did God create everything?

I don't know.

4- How did God get his name?

The Bible teaches that God has many titles. “God” and “Lord” are among them. However, the Bible also teaches that God has a personal name: Jehovah. Psalm 83:18 says: “You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.” God gave himself a name that is full of meaning. His name, Jehovah, means that God can fulfill any promise he makes and can carry out any purpose he has in mind.* God’s name is unique, one of a kind. It belongs only to him.

5- Where did God go before all creation?

God created time and space. There is no "before all creation", because time was created along with it.

6- Is God a spirit?

I guess it would depend on what you define as a spirit. As I said above, God is a timeless and space-less entity.

7- Did satan create all the demons?

Satan didn't create anything. He only corrupted some of what already existed.

Hi GrizzlyMonKey

I don't agree with that because that would make God exist together with the Big Bang. That would make God only about 15 billion years old or around that. I think before the Big Bang, God was seated in a kind of timeless spaceless vault waiting for the moment when he'd create things with a mighty explosion.

1- Is God a boy or a girl?

The male imagery used to depict God is fundamentally different from the female similes found in Scripture. God may be like a mother in certain aspects, but He is Father; Jesus prayed to Him as Father and taught His disciples to do the same (Matt 6:9). The Second Person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ, became incarnate as a man, not a woman, and Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit with the pronoun ‘He’ (John 14:16–17). These are not similes or metaphors, but teaching regarding the very nature of God and how He relates to His creation, and how the members of the Godhead relate to each other.

2- Did God create dinosuars with Adam and Eve?

Yes. Africa’s Congo jungle is becoming increasingly known as the reputed refuge of a mysterious creature called Mokele-Mbembe.1 The locals appear familiar with this creature, which they readily identify from drawings of fossil reconstructions as being like one of the dinosaurs. Few realize, however, that similar accounts occur in other parts of the world. Australian Aborigines have stories of encounters with huge, sometimes frightening monsters which range from what sound like dinosaurs to giant marsupials, also believed to have long become extinct.

In the Carlisle Cathedral (UK) lies a rather large tomb, inlaid with brass. To the casual visitor, a look at this large brass, set in stone, would reveal nothing out of the ordinary. But, on closer inspection, one can see engravings of creatures that any 21st century child would instantly recognize as dinosaurs! This tomb belongs to Bishop Richard Bell. The date assigned to his tomb is 1496. It is the narrow brass fillet (2.9 m or 9½ ft long), running around the edge of the tomb, that contains the items of particular interest. Owing to the passage of time (and countless thousands of tramping feet!) parts of the fillet have long since been lost, including the entire bottom section. However, in between the words of the Latin inscription, there are depictions of various animals. Most of these are unremarkable—various fish, an eel, a dog, a pig, a bird, a weasel/stoat—but a few of the engravings depict unusual creatures. On one engraving the creatures have an unmistakable resemblance to certain dinosaurs. Yet how could that be, since the bishop’s tomb was sealed and decorated over three centuries before the fossil bones of such creatures were systematically dug up, described and named?

The Chinese Zodiac has 12 animals all of which are alive today excepting 1 - the dragon. Now where that strikes a hitch is that there are creatures in the fossil record—lots of them—that could easily give rise to stories like the dragon legends all over the world if people had witnessed them in life—namely, many of the dinosaurs. But, according to long-age dogma, that’s impossible. And then there are the man-made artefacts which depict unmistakeable dinosaurs, displayed on decorations that are universally accepted as dating from hundreds of years before there were books showing from fossil reconstructions what these impressive beasts looked like. there is the sensational evidence, now widely accepted as real, of soft tissue in dinosaur fossils that are supposed to be tens of millions of years old, a finding that has been repeatedly confirmed in an increasing number of specimens. This includes transparent, branching blood vessels, and within them an ooze that could still be squeezed out like toothpaste and contained obvious nucleated red blood cell structures. Not to mention the identification of proteins like osteocalcin, collagen and more, which should have disintegrated in far less than 65 million years.

3- Why did God create everything?

C.S. Lewis wrote: ‘God did not make us because He was bored, lonely, or had run out of things to do. He created us to be the objects of His love! Sometimes our actions make us unlovely, but we are never unloved. And because God loves us—we have value. And nobody can take that value away. God's love revealed at Calvary fastens itself onto flawed creatures like us, and for reasons none of us can ever quite figure out, makes us precious and valued beyond calculation. This is love beyond reason. And this is the love with which God loves us.’1

4- How did God get his name?

In Biblical times a person’s name had deep significance and was often an expression of his or her origin, character or destiny.1 There are many terms for God in the Bible, all having special meaning or significance.

In Genesis chapter 1, Moses2 uses Elohim for God. This is the plural of El, which corresponds to God in English, theos in Greek and deus in Latin. Elohim means ‘the strong one’, and stresses the awesome omnipotence and power of the God who is Creator and Ruler over all of nature and the universe.

Yahweh is the truly personal name of the living God.5 It was revealed to Moses in the incident of the burning bush (Exodus 3:13–15). It means ‘I am who I am’ and thus ‘the self-existent One’. It tells us that Elohim has permanent existence, and announces the faithfulness and unchangeableness of the One who is always true to His Word, and is the same yesterday, today and forever.6

5- Where did God go before all creation?

He is eternal and existed in what I would call the different dimension of heaven. He lived there with His Son and Holy Ghost together with the angels. Remember there was a great battle between Satan and one third of the angels became fallen angels. So this rebellion may have been brewing before creation. I'm just guessing. No human really knows.

6- Is God a spirit?

Genesis 1:2 reads, ‘… and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters’. The Hebrew word ruach used by Moses can mean ‘spirit’, ‘wind’ or ‘breath’, with the choice being determined by the context.

7- Did satan create all the demons?

Demons are fallen angels. God creates all, not Satan. These angels were dubbed "demons" after they turned away from God and followed Satan.

I dispute everything KimberleyAA says as fanciful and fictional and would make a good novel or children's fairy tale. She's only making bald statements without substantiating them. Her post sounds more like what you might get from a creationist website and like all creationist websites, they don't give sources and evidence.

Please provide your source and evidence for everything you claim to be true. What you are saying is directly opposed to scientific evidence and what you have said about blood cells in dinosaur bone is something I remember reading online as a hoax but it continues to be reported in creationist websites. That's because these websites have nothing else to go on.

This is probably the best answer on that question, that's what I would say - from what I've read and learned before.

2- Did God create dinosuars with Adam and Eve?

Although on this I don't really agree. Greneknight is maybe a bit too harsh, but I understand why he object what you're saying. I have not really decided my "final" point of view in this but I tend to disagree. For example, do you believe that the Neanderthal man have existed? Do you believe in studies of genetic codes? That there are genetic codes developing which generates in different functions over time? :)

1- Is God a boy or a girl?

It really makes no difference. Some say because Adam is "male", that God is male. That is more genetics than reality. Also, the refrencing to God as "Him" is merely a social construct at that time(in which men were superior to women). It really makes no difference.

2- Did God create dinosuars with Adam and Eve?

Yes.

3- Why did God create everything?

I'm not sure. Why not?

4- How did God get his name?

I believe it came from Hebrew words that meant someone in a leadership position above everyone. Then there is Moses' confrontation with God in which we get the name "I Am" or "YHWH"(I believe its YHWH).

05- Where did God go before all creation?

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high! In all seriousness, we can't possibly know that, as where He would have gone is outside of the physical universe. The metaphysical universe may not even have dimensions. We don't know.

6- Is God a spirit?

He is a spiritual being. So, yes.

I learned more things about God and it's really hard to process them because I didnt know them before :/

Its fine, that's why we're here! ;)

7- Did satan create all the demons?

No. When Satan fell, he took 1/3 of the angels, making them "demons". Although, in some circles, this statement is contested. There are a lot of theories passed around about Satan and such. I stick with tradition as 1) I'm not gonna lose my salvation over it, and 2) most have contradictions somewhere along the line, and I don't care enough to take the time to figure it out. God has other meanings in my life than to battle semantics.

There is no evidence that proves God's existence. Understand that having faith in a greater good which you call God will not gaurantee you a place in a manmade ideal "heaven". Adam and eve are not real, please if you want to find out out how humans came to be a species, read a biology textbook which explains the theory of evolution. It is really quite beautiful. Now, I cannot say God is not real but simply stating that His existence is highly improbable. You came to be by a myriad of genetic mutations and variations. This was possiblle by the process of natural selection which by fact is not chance. I truly hope that you gain more knowledge on how the natural world around you works because it is beautiful and infinitely elegant. :)

Some Christians do believe the ToE.

It is really quite beautiful. Now, I cannot say God is not real but simply stating that His existence is highly improbable.

How can something outside of the physical universe have a probability?

There are a lot of Christians who do just that. Some historical examples are: Galileo, Gregor Mendel, Newton, et cetera.

1 - Is God a boy or a girl?
I agree with both GrizzlyMonKeH and KimberlyAA on this question..

2 - Did God create dinosaurs with Adam and Eve?
Yes. The entire universe was created in six days; God rested on the seventh. Before man sinned, all animals lived peacefully with one another, so the dinosaurs could not have harmed the people or animals. Many Christians believe that dinosaurs were destroyed during the Flood.

3 - Why did God create everything?
For His enjoyment. He may not have created animals, etc. for this purpose, but God created man to serve Him and be His friends.

4 - How did God get His name?
Last Sunday I learned that God's name means "strong One". Since God created everything, including languages, He must've named Himself too.

5 - Where did God go before all creation?
I don't really think God went anywhere - He was just...there. Some things we won't know or fully understand until we get to Heaven.

6 - Is God a Spirit?
Yes, partially. The Trinity of God has three parts - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

7 - Did Satan create all the demons?
I agree with KimberlyAA on this.
