More Pain!!!!

I was walking back from the superstore to work a little while ago. While i was walking i started to get a bit of discomfort in what i guess is my pubic area. I've had it before and i've been ok with it. But today it started to get to be a bit of a sharp pain. i slowed right down (although i wasn't exactly walking quickly in the first place) and it eased slightly. And it stopped altogether when i had to wait at a level crossing for a train to go by, and it didn't come back.

What could this be? I know i could ask my midwife but i don't see her until 19th June and i am reluctant to call her over something that might just be nothing

It's very likely either a pinched nerve caused by your pubic bone spreading- or si ply feeling your pubic bone spreading. Your body is producing relaxin- whuch loosens the ligaments to allow your bones to spread to make room for baby.

I get those pains every now and then too. I dont worry about them, because they end up not coming back for long amounts of time, and my little man keeps kicking away so I know he is fine.

Thanks - i wondered if it might be that which is why i didn't want to call the midwife.

Yep baby is moving like mad so i know the little one is more than fine

I might have had something similar to that, on a lesser scale a few days ago and wondered what it was. We really do go through a lot to have kids! Why are we doing this again? lol!

Well the midwives at the hospital are always amazed when, 1/2 hour after giving birth, I say we'll probably have more.

The pain is all forgotten really quickly when you gaze into those eyes.......
