A:Why do people believe Obama is the antichrist/ the beast? If he was actually born in Hawaii then according to my globe he wouldn't be coming out of the east. The sea maybe but a pastor friend of mine said that he (the beast) would come from the east? I am not sure I will have to reread revelation sorry. I also read about one beast from the sand and one from the sea. Anyhoo...

B: Do you believe he could be the antichrist? If so why? If not you can also say why. I think saying no is almost self explanatory.

The reason I pose this question is because of all the hoopla and I've heard of other past presidents being called the AntiChrist but I never received so many emails with video attatchments as now. Do you suppose it could be due to racism that people are claiming these things? Do you suppose its based in reality? Or is it just another new guy to start a conspiracy about?

Also the president is in office for 4 years not 3.5 years which is why I suspect this is not "The beast" because he is gonna be in office for 4 years unless assasinated (not my hope) and the beast is supposed to reign for 3.5 years according to my math.....

People who this he is just see him supporting party-platforms that they label "anti-Christian" and also see the entusiasm and large crowds that he drew at his rallies and other events and don't know how to explain it, especially when they disagree with him as a politician.

They think "how could so many people support someone I hate/disagree with?" And there's only one answer: he must be the anti-Christ.

Obama is charismatic, as the Antichrist will be. He has rejected orthodox (little "o") Christianity. Beyond that, there's nothing I really know of.

I have encountered more than a few who believe that Obama is antichrist in that he seems to them to be working against the cause of Christ.

Actually, he was born in Africa, according to his grandmother (who had no reason to lie). That is kinda east(ish).

I don't believe he is the anti-Christ, necessarily. It could be anyone, but it will be someone who affects a peace agreement in the middle-east (in his human persona). He doesn't become the anti-Christ till 3.5 years into the tribulation. So, I'm not sure what this has to do with the length of the presidential term.
