Only if you insist on arguing..... how about discussing deep eternal truths about God? Or are you saying that for you it is not possible unless you quote chapter and verse? Interesting as people talk about God and eternal truths all the time and never open the bible... however if you choose not to continue this dialog, that's fine..... take care, I am sure there will be other chances to interact...

in dialog there are no dead ends... we always can learn something from others and as such then all interaction is beneficial....

It is why non religious people follow the law.
Is it because they fear the policemen? No...most people just know its morally wrong to steal, to rape, etc..

The first step is to do the work of understanding why he thinks and feels the way he does. If you fully pass over to his standpoint, everything he says will make perfect sense.

That doesn't mean you have to agree, however.
