You mean regarding child custody don't you? I mean the judges are putting such clauses in for people who are divorcing who don't have children do they?
The only time such specifics should be included in any custody arrangements should be if the parents ask for and want them imposed.
When my husband and I were divorced (we have reconciled and remarried) he had a relationship with someone who was .. not someone acceptable to be around children, he basically agreed there was no need for the kids to be around her and the language of our custody agreement reflected an agreement regarding those who we were involved with and their having contact with out children.
There's no way a judge should be imposing such rules without parental involvement, there also should be agreement of both parties unless there has been (as someone else mentioned) some evidence of negligence or abuse.
