Moral Damages?!?

So, I realize Romanian law is different than US law, but can you imagine trying to pass a "Moral Damage" legislature in the US?  As if there weren't already enough frivolous lawsuits in the US, imagine a free-for-all like "Moral Damages"...

Actually 'moral damages' looks pretty much like what we would call 'punitive damages.' I could be wrong, but I think the difference here is more in vocabulary than substance.
