Hi all, I'm like really new to the forum but thought I might toss this out there....Some of their songs like "Life is Our Savior ["the tree of Living Breath is flowing through the Son, He was there before Earth began]", "You and Me" [ "...we look around in wonder, at the work that has been done, by the vision of the Father, touched by His loving Son"]", or "The Voice" ["....make a promise, take a vow, and trust the feeling....understand the Voice within, and feel the change, already beginning..."I mean WOW, what an inspiration from a group I have loved from the beginning. Do they have an appeal to anyone else?

Yes it's good to read those verses. I wish things were the same today where you could turn on a secular band and know they have faith in God Almighty!!! Wish we could get some of those good ok days back again!

Don D - There is no such song by The Moody Blues called "Live is our Saviour" and I know them well. Don't know what you are thinking of??? But yes, their lead singer. lead guitarist, main composer is a Christian.

A lot of newbies in this thread. Welcome to you all, Don Darling, Chloe Summers, and Skypilottx.

I'm not familiar with those songs at all, but the lyrics sound good. I'm more bothered by Christian songs with lyrics that don't seem to be, but yes, inspired/inspiring lyrics from secular groups seem a double blessing, to me.

When I used to listen to the Moody Blues years ago, I felt peaceful; now I know why; thanks and welcome to CF. Songs by the group Maranatha Singers from that same time period; have songs similar to the MB's. I have several threads with their songs in the forum "Deeper Fellowship" you might want to check out.
