I miss her so much. She died on Nov. 9 2013 of liver cancer. It was awful - in just 5 months from her diagnosis, she was dead. I don't know who ever said that time heals pain from someone's death, but I just feel like it gets worse. I know she is with the Lord, and that is a comfort, but I still miss her so, so, so much.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There is NOTHING wrong with missing her. My dad's mom is the closest person to me I have loss and understood his dad died when I was four and mother's parents are still here. She has been gone just over two YEARS and some nights I STILL cannot believe it.
I know that I cannot know since I have thankfully never lost a parent, but do NOT think that it is not OK to feel this way and if need be do NOT be afraid to seek professional help.
