Because the person who offered person C didn't sign an affidavit stating they did it for racist reasons, it couldn't possibly have anything to do with race. The fact that the same disparity that was always there is still there couldn't possibly have anything to do with it.and what about person C also got a master's in chemical engineering graduated with honors and has the same experience as person A but still makes $260?
Most of the statistics say these are equally qualified people doing the same job. There was always a disparity and it continues.
I'm just pointing out the obvious; if there are a higher percentage of person C living in states where the pay and cost of living is lower compared to person A; that needs to be taken into the equation before shouting racism.Another “whatever the reason, it isn’t racism!” argument.
At least you’re consistent.
It makes the news because it almost never happens man bites dog etc. It's out of the ordinary.I've given you several examples now of white people losing jobs or opportunities...and you're still trying to act like white people don't experience racism or if they do, it somehow doesn't matter, and that's because you don't really care about stopping racism or preventing it from happening.
You only care about it happening to people who look like you.
They also had a private army that strongarmed a group of people out of their own country. When the panthers tried to police their own communities, they were branded terrorists and all of the leadership was either arrested or assassinated.Consider how quickly the Jewish people bounced back from centuries of oppression and even an industrialized genocide and how white people somehow manage to fight a war every 10 years or less....
No that's what you want to convince me of. Black people cause their own disparity instead of the racist disparity that always existed still exists. And since I can't imagine anything more stressful than combat in warfare or institutional genocide....consider what exactly is the thing you want to convince me of? That black people are just super fragile and unable to handle stress or conflict? That these things, even in small doses, create generations of damage?
I don't know what you're looking at but keep dreaming. Whatever allows you to remain comfortable in your privilege. The disparity is 2 cents in the dollar. Not really any disparity.

Across various levels of education, a significant black–white wage gap remains. Even black workers with an advanced degree experience a significant wage gap compared with their white counterparts. And after controlling for age, gender, education, and region, black workers are paid 14.9% less than white workers.Just looking at facts. I've even told you where to find it.
It is where you stated, " But just counting CBC members, 25% of the US population is twice the percentage of black people in this country (13%). No other race in the history of this country has ever had that much representative power in proportion to population; and if you count the members who are not CBC members, it is even more! IMO To suggest there aren’t enough black members of congress is as absurd as suggesting there aren’t enough black men in the NBA; black people have plenty of political power in this country."True! The actual number of CBC members in the House is around 10% or so…. pretty close to the percentage of blacks in the US
I don’t see the misunderstanding.; Yes the actual number of house members is around 10% but I suspect the districts they represent has a higher than average number of people in them, so the actual number of people they represent is at least 25%.
I have the 2020 US census which details that African American women earn 58% of the salary of white men with the same job, the same education and the same experience.I'm afraid you have no evidence of that. Research has shown all the his equal, the difference is 2 cents in the dollar.

I guess 14.9% isn't that bad. Could it be that there is a disparity because there always has been one? Noh, not even within the realm of possibility right? Whatever makes you feel cozy I guess.
Black-white wage gaps are worse today than in 2000
This week, my colleagues hosted a discussion on the policies that the 2020 presidential candidates should focus on in order to help black workers in the economy. One of the challenges that the presidential candidates should discuss is how to reduce the black–white wage gap—which has stubbornly...www.epi.org
there is no way that can be true because it would destroy these people's cozy little life view that life is fair and equal for everyone.I have the 2020 US census which details that African American women earn 58% of the salary of white men with the same job, the same education and the same experience.

Yes, they do, read the stats. I know it can hurt to have your whole life view destroyed but blacks get paid less because they always have been paid less for doing the same jobs. When one has no clue about a topic one shouldn't comment on it. If one has no experience in an area of life, they should just try to learn more about it. If one has never felt the sting of racism do they really have any place to comment on what they have no experience of?Oh once again they did not mention ANYTHING about the fields people were working in not comparing experience, education etc in THAT field.
Just another disingenuous article spouting the same nonsense.
A white chemical engineer with the exact education and experience do a not earn 18% more than a black one where the only difference is the color of their skin.

I'm glad to see you admit that inequality should be the norm. Who should be on top though That's right white men.Problem.... Life isn't fair and equal for everyone. Never has been, never will be. So i am going to disappoint you if you think we have that cozy viewpoint.
Not sure where you ever got that idea.
It's one of the realities of life. It's not fair and it's not equal. Good grief you ought to know without a doubt that we don't think that way.
In your personal word view that's correct. It's a blow to one's self-esteem to know that you may have have a little extra help.because it's not true
If you felt the sting of it you would know the truth. You never will. You can only lean on your privilege. Is it comfy? Probably.Feeling the sting of racism doesn't change truth
Wow, the precision that you require for debate-level hypotheticals almost seem like factors that could be filtered out when the authors of the statistical analysis did their work…which, come to think of it, they did. Putting out a shoddy report probably means that’s the only kind one does and they are probably not a “successful researcher”.I'm just pointing out the obvious; if there are a higher percentage of person C living in states where the pay and cost of living is lower compared to person A; that needs to be taken into the equation before shouting racism.
