  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is VERY sad and disturbing. Islamic apologists/sympathizers are running out of excuses here. Please pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.

When does it matter if they are running out of excuses?, it never matters anyway, Islam is always distanced from the attacks even though its the primary motivation (even if the people who carry out the attacks are following it in the wrong or right way its still their inspiration)

People dont really care, including Christians ourselves, the odd news story reporting it and prehaps a Newspaper columnist says something about it. more is made out of the so called "Islamophobia" in Europe/America/Western world. We're treated like isolated incidents of anti-muslim violence in the west is the responsablity of us all and we should all speak out against it. While Mob attacks, mass anti-christian hysteria in the Islamic world is "just a few extremists" and has nothing to do with Islam.

Ive heard people claim that Muslim terrorists arent really Muslims ands got nothing to do with Islam, while then claiming the USA/Nato wars in Afghanistan are "Christian led wars", its laughable.

waching the religious and social debate programs in my country is laughable too, when someone mentions anti-christian violence, the Muslims then says usually the following "we're talking about the UK, we're not in those lands" and "Its got nothing to do with Islam is corrupt governments".

Suddenly though, when Israel conflict or even the French headscarf ban is mentioned, "borders" then dissappear and they all have a comment on it and its Anti-muslim actions in Chechnya by Russians, funny how their stance isnt "Corrupt governments" when the shoes on the other foot.

Im not saying we're blameless, that we're right or wrong, what I am saying is the hypocrisy when dealing with muslims is out of this world and comes down to two thing 1. Its okay when muslims persecute others and doesnt matter and is not worth mentioning, its got nothing to do with islam. 2. its totally wrong when Muslims are not treated "correctly" (not even violence, even trivial things too), they're victims, we should all stand up against "Islamophobia" and we in the west are responsable for their extremism due to us being "nationalist pigs" and we breed resentment from not being "tolerant" enough.

You got a learn, we're up against a brick wall here, sister, we're only gonna get justice when its time for His return.

When it come to religious violence, we should remember that Jesus told us to love our enemy.

Even when it is hard, we should find forgiveness for despicable acts against us.

When someone who hates us sees us move to embrace them as a friend, rather than strike back, it shakes his belief that we are a truly his enemy, and will give him second thoughts.
