Supreme Court rules for Missourians seeking Medicaid expansion
The Missouri Supreme Court on Thursday vacated a state-court ruling that said Gov. Mike Parson's administration acted appropriately in declining to expand Medicaid eligibility, and directed the lower court to rule in favor of plaintiffs who sought to force the government to expand the health program.

This comes as a terrible shock to Missouri republican leaders, who assumed that they could simply ignore the Missouri Constitution and the will of the people of Missouri. Sorry guys; it's still America.

It's an entirely new philosophy. Republicans, when they lost in the past, would say "the people have spoken" and would focus on getting their message out in a more effective way.

Now they seem to think that if they can rig the system to defy elections, that's just great.

Gerrymandering, voter suppression, even outright defiance of the law. It's all O.K. in today's republican party.
