  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Went on my first mission trip with a group of college football players through an organization called Sports Reach. Our mission was to spread God's love throughout various prisons in Florida during our spring break. We would play softball with the prisoners and afterwards share Bible verses and personal testimonies with them. 92 prisoners from 3 different prisons accepted salvation and gave their lives to Christ. The spirit was real and present within these prisons and I had the privilege to meet some extremely strong Christians within those walls. The feeling I received when one of those prisoners stepped forward to accept Christ into their lives can't be matched by anything the world is offering us. I am forever grateful for God choosing me to a part of this mission trip and always cherish the miracles I witnessed over the course of that week. I went on this mission trip with the idea that I would be able to help change someone's life, but in return I find myself a changed man with a stronger relationship with my Father. To God Be The Glory!!

It's great that it worked out so well! We don't naturally share Bible verses with people after we do secular things, so it's nice to be in a setting where expectations drive us to move outside of our norm.

Maybe that will inspire to approach situations differently, and see how God works all the time when we step out and take these risks.

Tentmaking.
