CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No, so called science that pretends to overrule creation, and deal in an unknown state, that it knows nothing about. As for knowledge of the present, and laws, that is science, and both good and bad. Sinful men use knowledge in sinful ways. No news there. Only to those that think they are good, maybe.

Genesis is not by laws. It is history, and also full of useful things that happened to others, that apply right now. It is also about Jesus coming one day, and the sacrifice of the Lamb, etc. Nothing whatsoever to do with silly by laws.

They accuse us of using god-of-the-gaps explanations; then they show us artists' pictures and drawings of something built up from a tooth or skullcap, which somehow ends up becoming a whole species or civilization.

You got it backward. People like you who think they are God try to overrule what science tells us about nature, with your false interpretations of scripture. That is why I am going to start calling your interpretation of the Bible "so-called scripture," from now on. Thanks for that idea, btw.
So, how do you know which parts of the Bible are "silly" and which are not? Do you just chose what you like and say its God's Word and then call the rest "silly" and ignore it?

The monor by-laws of the Jews, if applied to today as actual rules to live by, are silly, just as all out of context renderings of true meanings are silly.

No. To claim anything else is to put on false airs. You don't know. Science doesn't know. It is as simple as looking to future universe, you don't know what it will be like. Face it. Claiming it is insane to believe a known God, for no reason that you know, is just not right.

You have the map confused with the territory. The territory has not changed Pluto is still there. We have just changed what we call it on the the map a bit. YECs try to map a territory that does not exist.
