The point was that your statement: "The simple fact is that people who take creation as described in Genesis can't explain dinosaurs at all." Is not a true statement. OEC and GAP people believe in creation as described in Genesis and they do not have any trouble at all to explain dinosaurs.

I did a search for titles containing "Noah"...15 results. Similar search with the word "Flood", 63 results.

Approximate Total (Not all "Flood" titles dealt with Noah's flood)...around 75 threads dealing with Noah's Flood.

Note: Airkay, I found your "Fun with Flood Math" thread. That's interesting, I just went through the same thing on another forum I post in. We were also very close in our estimates. My favorite, "put the flood in context" comparison: We'd need the oceans of THREE other Earth's, dumped onto our little globe, to achieve a universal depth of about 5 miles. Yep, we have had a lot of conversation about Noah's flood. No one argues against a local flood. Everyone seems to agree that about 12,000 years ago, there was world wide flooding.

Where people disagree is that the YEC camp seems to believe that everything was under water. Many people disagree with that. The evidence only shows that the low land or everything below 400 feet was flooded and is still flooded today.

Most of this comes from off shore oil research. Where the old beach line can still be seen in many locations around the world.

Huh?! I don't remember voting for that one.

I would agree that probably every river valley on the Earth has flooded dramatically at some point in its history, but I have never heard that there was some simultaneous flooding of a variety of local areas at a specific time in history.

Is there any verified physical evidence to back this up?
