tonight i was at my friends house, where we have a sat. night bible study every week. He and i are the leaders of the guys small groups. He came home from work, and someone had given him 2 tickets to see coldplay tonight.

but we thought it through, and decided that we needed to stay and lead the bible study. but i've had a hard time getting my mind off of it. Coldplay is at the top of my list of bands that i really want to see.

i've had a hard week, and this could have been amazing.


oh well, i have 2 dmb shows next weekend.

Argh! You could have seen "Sober" when it was fresh! I can't imagine what that could/would have been like.

I could've seen Orgy, but I couldn't back out of going to Grad Nite '04, where the only course of entertainment was basically split between Space Mountain and Simple Plan...

could've gone to gigantour recently, but i had just spent (the same day i found out about gigantour) most of my money of stuff for my guitar....man, i could've waited a couple of more weeks to get a new cable and strings

I would have gone to the concert, which is why I am not a bible study leader.

but if it weren't for my friend's mom, and the girl leaders, who would have killed peter and i, i would have gone to the concert too.

i was devastated. peter doesn't REALLY like coldplay much, but they're one of my favorites.

i miss shows that i really want to see on at least a weekly basis... theres no point in getting down over it. yea it sucks, but worse could have happened. just count your blessings

i should also mention that my friend who did go, was in the pit. Chris Martin came out, and took some pictures on a disposable camera, and then threw it out into the audience. my friend caught the camera, had the pics developed, and there were some from the concert, but some of the pictures, the band members took in their hotel room.

(sigh). wow.

look, i'm straight as the "straight and narrow" but chris martin is one awesome dude.
