Flames consuming the atmosphere
the air is burning
nothing else
just the air.
The air consumed
a hole opens in the middle of the room
the nothing spreads everywhere
As the final breath is gasped seen is
a crystal vase sat upon a pedestal
and then it fell over ...
yet it had nothing to fall on
nothing at all
until it's gleaming contours became nothing itself
the flames were bright
but now there is nothing
nothing
nothing
not even sound
"But now, all you who light fires and provide yourselves with flaming torches, go, walk in the light of your fires and of the torches you have set ablaze. This is what you shall receive from my hand: You will lie down in torment." Isaiah 50:11
