Oh yes, probably more than ever. I have personally witnessed the miracle of the sun at Medjugorje and have had repetitions of the event elsewhere. You should also check out the miracle of the holy fire which happens every year. I saw dozens of people healed at a prayer rally at the weekend. Added to that the dozens of little miracles and "godincedences" that happen every day... Miracles are happening all the time. I've come to depend on them actually.

yes. most definitely. He has continued throughout the centuries to perform miracles. Here are a few:

This third one is one of the biggest that happens each year. On Easter, the Patriarch goes into the Holy Sepulchre and brings out the Holy Fire. The vast majority of the flashes that you see in the beginning of the video are people's candles bursting into flame because of the power of the Holy Spirit. Also, in other videos, you can see the fire jumping from candle to candle, lighting the candles, but not harming Christians. People put their hair in it and it doesn't burn them.
There's also another miracle which happens each year on Easter. When the Gospels are read over the river Jordan, the river reverses its flow and flows uphill. There are videos on youtube. It's the only time of the year that this happens.
Sooo many of the saints performed miracles. There are many wonder-working icons. hahaha God is so much more present in the world than people are aware.

Ok here goes Mr David.
Example one:
About 10 years ago My husband and I were having financial problems, I had lost my job, new baby etc. Anyway, it was at that time that a tooth of mine started hurting, this was the same tooth that a few years before my dentist had said might need a root canal sometime in the future. Well, I didn't have enough money for a root canal (which can be a thousand dollars if you get a crown with it), I didn't even have enough money for a dentist visit.
Root canals are fairly serious. An untreated root canal can get infected, and that infection can go systemic and be deadly. That's when I said to God (this is a bit of a summary), "Well, you're the one who said you would take care of me, and you know as well as I do that there is no money to fix this tooth, so I'm going to have to rely on you for this. Please fix the tooth or give me the money to pay the dentist to fix it." Then I thought it about it a bit more and, after a pause, I added "While I'm asking, It would be really really nice if you could just fix the tooth instead of my having to endure a root canal at the dentist." I explained to God that though I really would prefer the healing, either choice would work providing the tooth got fixed (after all askers can't be choosy). I thanked God and went on my way, for I had too many other things to worry about.
Well over the two weeks following that prayer the pain in my tooth gradually went away. I figured that God had healed it since the pain was gone and no large sums of money appeared from some unexpected source in order to finance the root canal. Naturally I couldn't go to the dentist to find out what had happened because, of course I couldn't afford it.
Anyway a few years after that I did go to the dentist and he had gotten a fairly good x-ray photo of the tooth, and do you know what he said about it? He said (and I quote) "God gave me a root canal". As I recall he explained this by saying something about my tooth calcifying and filling in the space where the dead nerve had been.
Example 2:
I used to live in New Mexico, then I moved to New Orleans. Right before the big move I had a feeling that I was going to get into an accident on the road to New Orleans so I asked the people in my church to pray for my safety. Thinking that I was just another person who was afraid to travel and who simply wanted attention, they begrudgingly prayed for me.
Anyway during our trip, at about 10:00 at night the water on the bridges started to freeze up. The roads were clear, but the bridges were frozen and we were on a stretch of road that was crossed by many little creeks so there were a lot of bridges. My husband was in the moving van And I was following along behind him in our car. He was able to go over the ice and maintain control of his vehicle because it was heavier, also he grew up in a area that had a lot of snow and ice so he knew how to drive in it. I on the other hand, did not.
We had to be in New Orleans by a certain time the next day in order to meet up with the people who were going to help us unload the moving truck, and we were running behind schedule so my husband was driving way too fast for the road conditions in order to meet schedule. Which of course made me have to go way too fast for the road conditions in order to keep up with him (yes, I'm going to blame this situation all on him).
Anyway he drives over an icy bridge and is fine, I go over that same patch and start to loose control of my vehicle. I yell "God!" (at times like these there is no time for a formal prayer) and the gas pedal moves down, all on it's own, to the floor of the car. This action caused me to regain control over the car. Well, even though I had asked God for help and he helped me, I was a bit freaked out about the situation. Furthermore, I was still determined, (like an idiot) to catch up with my husband in the moving truck, so I did not slow down and when I hit the next icy bridge I was not prepared to deal with it.
When I hit this second bridge I completely lost control of the car and started doing backward doughnuts in the center of the highway. during one of my revolutions I noticed that a semi truck was headed straight for me. Thinking that this was going to be the end of things, my life flashed before me in my mind, (which didn't take very long I was still young then) and I thought "well here I go". The next thing I knew I was backing into the ditch in the median strip (which, thankfully, was not full of water like they usually are in that area) and God brought it to my mind that I should put on my brakes,(I was a little freaked out by then and not thinking straight, so this help was needed). when I put on the brakes the car came to a gentle stop.
The semi truck never did hit me, in fact he had stopped to help. Behind him was a tow truck, and while the tow truck driver pulled my undamaged car out from the median strip, I had the semi truck driver drive down the road to tell my husband that I had had an accident (I knew that sooner or later he would notice that I was not following behind him and stop to wait for me).
Believe it or not, after all that we still made it to New Orleans on time! Praise God.

I have dozens of healing experiences.....or it could have been the devil working through me.
Please explain your statement! Not every healing experience qualifies as a miracle!
Is your comment about the devil working through you meant to be facitious?

Not everything that appears to be a miracle is from God! One must not make the leap from a miracle to some New Age Mysticisms. It is up to the believer to be able to discern the difference. Miracles have a specific purpose! Do you know what that purpose is?

Again, I must caution, that not every so-called miracle is from God! You must be cautious not to make the leap from a bonafide miracle to mysticism. Some of what you have shown here are mere interpretation, that these are miracles. Your interpretation could be faulty! I have seen many photos of what people claim to be miracles, when in fact they are not and can easily be explained by normal events taking place. What is your definition of a miracle?

David, I wish to say, that often on these posts, they are not designed to become a debate, but to cause one to think about some long held positions of the church that have much to do with traditions and bad teachings of the church for many years. What I hope you understand is that I wish to spur the believer into deeper thought about what they believe. You have been a great advocate of your positions. I have challenged you on several and have kept the pressure on you in order to drive you into deeper thought and above all to drive the truth of the gospel as we understand it. And I know from your posts that you are a very sincere Christian, and that you desire truth on the inward parts. I do not have all of the answers, that is why I like to challenge those with opposing viewpoints. I have learned much in doing so, and I hope you have also.
Now, let me be clear, in somethings, I am unbendable, once I am certain that I have the truth on a particular subject, but I hope you understand that my goal is to cause you to learn the truth, not to beat you up with the Scriptures. And in turn I am willing to listen to other positions acknowledging that I could be wrong about some things. In that spirit I hope we can continue as good Cristian disciples and together can cause both viewpoints to be brought forward. These are not easy subjects to address. And I appreciate your willingness to put forth your viewpoint.

My definition of a miracle is pretty simple and I'm not saying this is THE definition of a miracle - it is what I go by. I don't find a clear definition in Scripture to give us an absolute answer here.
Miracle: any occurrence that to our knowledge of creation is outside of the normal function of creation within what we now call the laws of physics. Ex. walking on water
Thus, my definition has miracles only possible from man's perception. God knows the perception of man and works what appears as a miracle for his own purpose, even if that purpose in nothing more than to love his creation whether people love him back or not.
Some miracles God does through man, such as Jesus turning water into wine, seem to have no grand purpose. But it does show that God cares about even the small affairs of man, because he cares so much about man, to even be willing to do such things in areas of life that don't really matter in the big scheme, such as a wedding banquet and that they ran out of wine.

^^ That's a good definition DP. JC, the Websters dictionary also has a good definition of the word miracle. Regardless of either definition, it should not matter weather the miracle is an answer to prayer or not. Either way it is a supernatural event.
What we see as supernatural can, I assume, be explained through some scientific knowledge we don't posses right now, (after all primitive people have a tendancy to call scientifically explainable events some sort of magic). Therefore what is more an evidence of God's existance is the answer to prayer, (and the relationship to a higher being that this involves) not the miraculous event itself.
