Ministering to equals

I want to be a part of a real NT church movement. No more of this attending a concert with a guy shouting the whole service, I want the love restored to the church. I want church to be where you get away from the business side of life and just be in relationship with the body of Christ.

I did however feel that for the church I'm at now... well let me back a little. Me and my wife are very intimate with the Lord, and when we go to the church we're at now, we try our best to worship, but it's distracted by, "C'MON THAT AIN'T WORSHIP!"
We don't get fed, and are distracted from touching the Father's heart.

I really feel ya here. I'm in a similar situation and don't know where to pug in and get fed.. But at the same time I've learn once you get to a certain point Feeding others is nourishment in of itself..

Why not have a church within walking distance of every home? Community would be so amazing then!

Where one or two are gathered in my name... This may change what the church looks like on the outside, but your Idea is well with in reason.

"Where one or two are gathered..." Where is that, and what is the context of that?

It can be found in Matthew 18... interestingly enough, it's a chapter that really encourages a family/community church.
When was the last time a person got up in front of the church and said, "Well so and so is out in their sin" and everyone was like, "Oh my, I know him/her, I had better pray for them!"
I've seen it happen but people are like, "I don't know them but hey, Godspeed!"

Exactly! Hahaha. It's funny to me, because I am one of those people who have been looking, (for about 20 years now) for a church which actually opperates like the NT church. I mean, its in black and white in every Bible, There is no mystery involved, yet, everyone wants to avoid the subject like aids. No, it's even worse, people do actually discuss aids. Have you ever heard of such a church exsisting?

There's a church where the elders are actually really pushing for the NT church feel. They're even planning on building their next church 'building' as an amphitheater, a.k.a. outside church.

You may just want to copy and paste it or just type it in. It's always worked for me, but at this site if you click on 'Ministries' he has a link to his church site at the end of the summary for the church. You'll see it. I hope it works!
