  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My husband  and I have been married for about four weeks. I have been under alot of stress. After we got married he had to go back to North Dakota and serve his country. I miss him so much. We are waiting for a two bedroom house to open up on base so I can finally be with him and our three children. But lately it has been getting harder and harder without him. I catch myself breaking down and crying:cry: at every little thing now because all I can seem to think about is him being 1700 miles away. I have a hard time opening up and telling him what is wrong and telling him the trueth about how I really feel about things. I am asking God for the strength to carry on while he is away. I:prayer: pray that him and I can be together soon. I just need a little prayer right now. . I pray we can be together very soon !!!!! Thank You for all of your prayers!!!!!

I will pray for you because I have been there also. My husband is in the Marines and one month after we were married, he was sent to Iraq and was there for 5 months. I was a wreck and thinking of him and wanting to be with him consumed my life. It is okay to cry but try to make this a positive thing. Separation really validates feelings- "absence makes the heart grow stronger". I hope you will be together soon and when you are, it will be wonderful:) Let me know how you are doing and I will be praying for you!

Praying for you AirmensWife! I am sure it must be hard to be separated from someone you love so much. I will lift your situation in pray and also pray that the housing opens up soon so that you can be together as a family.
