A lot of people are profiting from exactly what you're describing here. It appears Mike Lindell is just another one...

Interesting how his whole Trump schtick has ramped up right around the time his MyPillow venture started going downhill... It seems clear to me that he is shifting from selling MyPillow (which was a pretty rotten product - I know from personal experience) to the general public and through general sales channels to now selling mostly online and targeting other Trump supporters.

From what I can see, his business was declining (rapidly) so he is using his Trump-supporter "cred" to sell to his own folks, hoping they will support his business not because "MyPillow is the best sleep you ever had, guaranteed!" so much as because "I am a victim of Cancel Culture! Please buy MyPillow to own the Libs!"

As a gimmick he says he's offering 5 million dollars to anyone who can prove the data he shows is not valid 2020 election data.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell released his alleged "packet captures" tonight that will prove widespread 2020 "voter fraud," but there's a problem: the data is so blurry you can't make out a single number.

maybe using that cheap Cataract video software wasn't such a great idea.

Cyber Symposium

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell insisted that his planned "cyber symposium" scheduled for August will "change history" and reveal evidence of election fraud leading to former President Donald Trump's loss in November 2020.

Fox won't show his (presumably loopy and/or actionable) ad for his symposium, so MyPillow is taking its advertising dollars elsewhere.

Is it the same $5mil that Donald offered (and never paid) for proof of Obama's birth certificate?

Man, Liddell can't even concoct an original scam... That's sad.

Fortunately, someone else was on the case:

Allow me to present to you the evidence that China stole the 2020 election. Please sit down; I don’t want you to be injured when you faint.

So: voilà.

[If the image is not showing up, it's a string of random ASCII.]

Yes, you’re reading that right. Looks like you owe MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell an apology.

Hm? You say you can’t figure out what you’re supposed to be looking at? Well, that’s just because you [mumbles] and you know what, I really have to get going to this dentist’s appointment.

Again, it’s been the case for months that Lindell has said his “cyber experts” saw proof of vote hacking in the captured packets of data. It would, presumably, be very easy for those experts to then stand up and quickly walk through what they found and what it means. But this has never happened.[/QUOTE]

A twitter thread from an actual security expert who is attending the symposium to see what they actually have.

Rough summary of day one: Nothing of any use presented for analysis. More promises of real, important data to come. Lindell calls out that guy specifically saying he ran away, despite the guy being right there and waiting to go on stage to talk with Lindell.

To be fair we're probably exploiting there forums also.

I doubt it, at least not in operations from the USA. Trolls farms are a uniquely Russian phenomenon, with Russia being uniquely suited as a country full of criminal scumbags and lowlifes.

Besides that, the US doesn't have to do much to cause Russians to mistrust their government. It's already there by default.

A great picture of what things look like when facts and evidence don't matter any more and 'truth' is determined by tribal affiliation.

TruNews—an anti-vaccine, anti-semitic, End Times conspiracy theory network—was ... so sympathetic to Lindell’s claims of massive voter fraud that the network sent two correspondents to broadcast from the symposium and streamed the entire event live on its website for three days.

But Lindell has now attacked them.

“I have a report from from our counter-intelligence on the people that were there,” Lindell said. “Antifa individuals were working with TruNews, which is a fake news site established by Media Matters for America.”

“It really is sad,” said TruNews founder Rick Wiles. “Somebody is feeding Mr. Lindell a lot of bad information ... They’re destroying his credibility.”

TruNews was apparently unable to see the bad information that Lindell has been spouting for months, but now that he's turned on them, he's no longer credible.

Haha, apparently Lindell's continuous state of confusion led him to confuse TruNews with TruthOut.

But the damage is done, and TruNews wants an apology. And one meeellion dollars.

All is well in Pillowland. Mike and TruNews have now discovered that *them* were responsible for setting Mike up by beaming words into his head.
