Migrant Camp Moves Into High School, Forces Students Out of Their Classrooms

Approximately 1.9k migrants from Floyd Bennett Field will be temporarily relocated to James Madison High School; the school will be shut down and students will attend virtual classes.

So now American taxpayers are expected to upend their children's education and shut down an active high school, so the building can be used to house illegal aliens, who have no rights to be here in the first place.

New York GOP Rep. Nicole Malliotakis also expressed her disgust. "Shutting down a school and forcing students to take virtual classes for illegal immigrants. Nice job Democrats! Mayor Eric Adams insists on free housing for all, Governor Kathy Hochul ignores our warning about using parks and Senator Chuck Schumer sat on my bill to cancel this lease! Three stooges!!"

The parents appear to be outraged as well, with good reason; some of their reactions were bordering on ugly:

One local resident, who identified himself only as Rob, told the Post: “There’s 1,900 people getting thrown into my neighborhood, half a block from where I live and we don’t know who they are. They're not vetted. A lot of them have criminal records and backgrounds and we don’t even know.”

One local mom, the Post reported, also screamed at the buses. “How do you feel? Does it feel good?” yelled the woman, who would only identify herself to the outlet as Michelle. “How does it feel that you kicked all the kids out of school tomorrow? Does it feel good? I hope you feel good. I hope you will sleep very well tonight!”

Another local dad had this to say: “How do you feel stealing American tax money?”

I can't say as I blame them. They're paying taxes to provide for their children's education, only to have these idiot politicians throw the kids into the street so they can commandeer the building to house people who have paid no taxes, who have contributed nothing to this society, who aren't even legal residents here. Why should the People pay taxes for that? Let the politicians who allowed the aliens in here pay for their upkeep. One of the sore points before the Revolutionary War was that citizens were expected to house British soldiers in their homes, and provide them with food, shelter, and whatever else they needed, even though the citizens didn't ask for the troops to be quartered in their homes---they were expected to do it because the government told them to do it. How is this any different?

It's time the Democrats started shouldering the burden, instead. Let's see Gracie Mansion, home of New York City's mayor, turned into migrant housing. Same thing with Chuck Schumer and Kathy Hochul's places of residence. And while we're at it, the White House should be fair game, too. So, too, should Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' digs.

After all, if these unvetted illegal immigrants are important enough to shove high schoolers out, they should be important enough to shove the people who all but invited them here out, too. No? Not willing to do that? Then stop this madness and send them back.

I couldn't agree more, but I think the better plan would be to activate the National Guard, round up every illegal in the country, load them aboard planes, send them straight back to their points of origin, and then seal the southern border so tight that not even light can penetrate it.
