John 14:20
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
The truth is Fire, God and his Christ can be seen in the likeness of all his host.
But most believers have not yet come to that day.![]()
I so wouldnt judge there because we can have the earnest of the Spirit, and yet the earnest expectation of the creature is that which waiteth for the "manifestation of" the sons of God. I believe we go onto perfection because everyone that is perfect will be like his master, and we are being made perfect.
So it was with his disciples
John 16:19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
John 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Thats our hope too, anyone who has this hope in him, even in respects to seeing him as He is ( purifies himself) to the same effect and we are saved by hope, that I might know him, to be like him. To me, we have to start somewhere, and Paul said this... Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after (however he adds) as many as be perfect, he is telling them how he "counted himself" (to the contrary)...Yet he adds....Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Something I have thought about, which is sorta kool how he is careful around attributing perfection to himself, because job speaks of the same, saying if I say (of myself) I am perfect, it shall prove me perverse, even though one might try to justify the saying so of oneself due to the very fact that God said so of Job (and thus one could attest that they are simply affirming the words of God) concerning themselves.
Know what I mean? God maketh our way perfect, he wills and works in us and he is the author and perfecter of our faith, so in a sense, just know others by their fruit, but even though (at one time or another) just as we cannot bear fruit without Christ, if we abide in him we surely will and have our fruit unto perfection, patience for the fruit
I got an apple tree I have been waiting years for fruit, but it needs time, and pruning and all of that, I wouldnt judge my apple tree as a reprobate tree because its still young and its fruit comes with age, and growth and my careful attention to it.
Know what I mean?
God bless you brother
