Oh, come on you guys! POST! POST!!!

Celandine walked into the hazy tavern, full of greasy men with bloodshot eyes and loud voices. She never did like the big people very much. They were very unpredictable and loud. But of course, she wasn't that predictable herself. She walked up to the counter, which went way over her head. She cleared her throat, and in her loudest voice, (which wasn't very loud if you were a human...) said "EXCUSE ME!" A plump man with hilarious mutton chops that went right into a thinning beard walked up to the counter. He was suprised to see her, for not many hobbits-female at that-went into the taverns at Bree. Nonetheless, he respected her bravery and stood a little straighter. "Welcome to The Prancing Pony, ma'am. What may I do for you?" His voice faltered a little. Celandine could tell that while he had only good intentions, there were not a lot of wheels turning inside that kindly head of his. She had to grin as she replied. "I am sorry to bother you, but I am seeking accomodations for a few days. Do you have any hobbit rooms available at the moment?" Celandine said, hoping beyond hope she wouldnt be forced to return to Hobbiton. "Why of course we do, ma'am. And if we dont, we will find one. That's my motto-'Always make room for a lady.'" Celandine supressed a laugh. She picked up her bag from the grimy floor and followed Barliman Butterbur to her room, a dome shaped structure looking and feeling very much like a hobbit hole. There were a few cozy looking paintings on the walls, and some coals were glowing deep red in the fireplace.

Tanis walked through the dreary town of Bree. He looked around, hoping that no humans noticed him. Seeing that noone did, he entered a small tavern. His senses had led him there. He looked around the damp enclosures of the inn. The Prancing Pony, the name of this particular inn, was interesting. Many types had come and gathered here.

The bartender, with his odd beard and facial hair, was talking to a small hobbit-woman. He was not worried about that now, that could not be what drew him here, or could it?

Welcome, Elda! Are you a big LotR fan?

Celandine set her bag down in her room, and looked around. She tried to swallow the large lump that was forming in her throat, but this was too much like home. Without thinking, she opened a drawer from the large set of bereau drawers and took every last book, picture, and necessity and put them in the drawer. She didnt want anything to remind her of her unhappy past. She wasnt over it yet.

We all have writers block from time to time, Darrions. By the way, Elda, not to be mean, but try to space your words out (dont leave them like this "andhesaid" it looks bad, just constructive criticism)

Tanis sat down at the bar stool, his thoughts abroad. He could not think of anything, but he could think of everything at once. Suddenly it happened, it had been happening a lot lately. A feeling of a certain prescence, that of a powerful force. He felt something, and suddenly, as it did everytime, his world went black...
Tanis saw something floating in dark, some small item, some dark artifact. It was both hideous and awesome, terrible and incredible. It was a ring, a thing of beauty and magic. It was the prescence he had felt, the feeling of old. It was near...but how? He remembered the terror of this ring in the battle with the Dark Lord. He was there, he was witness to his defeat, but...the ring had survived?...No...the humans...he felt anger inside of him suddenly. The weakness was very apparent, and sometimes he hated them. Now, they might have caused peril upon the land again...
As soon as it had begun, the vision gone. Tanis awoke in a room, on top of a bed...

My long awaited post...

As the days went by, Legolas spent more and more time with Araethir, and thier friendship grew into something more. Legolas found himself thinking of Araethir often, and was beginning to feel something inside of him blossom. One day, while riding his horse, he realized that he was indeed in love with her.

Nurlach watched his daughter closely. She wouldn't stop smiling. She offered to do things she never, in her right mind, would have done. Nurlach was conviced that Legolas had something to do with it.

Araethir was walking through the field one day, when Legolas rode up. She smiled her greetings as he dismounted. They sat in the field for a while, talking of carious things. But Araethir senses Legolas wanted to tell her something. He finally did.

Legolas took a deep breath. I need to tell her. He looked up at Araethir, and got ready to speak, but no words left his mouth. He looked into her eyes, and knew he had to say it. Taking another deep breath, he spoke.
"Araethir," His heart began to beat faster. "I...I...I..."
Legolas looked at his hands, and then back up at her. She was waiting patiently for him to finish.
"I love you." he said, closing his eyes.

Araethir was shocked. She knew she'd felt strangely attached to him, but she never knew that he had feelings for her. They were close friends, yes. She never knew it was more. But still, she couldn't help but feeling like she loved him. Slowly she replied, "I...I love you to." She looked up at Legolas, who was smiling. She smiled. And there, in the field they shared their first, passionett[sp] embrace.

Faila was riding her horse out in the woods when she heard a horse neigh behind her. She looked back and there was Cundu. She stopped her horse and turned him around to face Cundu. Another one of her brothers.
"Hello Cundu! How are you doing? What have you been up to?"
"Oh nothing, I have just been riding around. Have you seen Legolas recently? I've been looking for him"
"Last time I saw him he was walking off with Araethir."
"Thanks, I have to find him. See you tonight at dinner?"
"Yes, I will be there as long as I do not lose track of time while riding."
And with that Cundu rode off in search of his brother and Faila turned her horse and slowly rode off.

That is all that I have for now :)
Still thinking what to write about Rosie.

Name: Rougue
Age: Appears to be about 17
Race: Elf
Bio: She doesn't have one, and if she did, she probably wouldn't tell you.
Looks: Long, straight, dark red hair, vivid green eyes, and a pale complexion.
Weapons: A large set of daggers that show up in rather strange places... How many? It is doubtful that even Rougue herself knows... ((Muah!))

Hello, Celandine...

Vibrant green eyes looked out on the world with calculating mistrust, hidden by the large, loose hood that their bearer had taken to wearing. Behind those eyes was the mind of an experienced warrior, and in that hood were two of the many daggers she carried. They were hidden in her hair, used as 'chopsticks' to hold the dark red mass up. Her facial features were those of a 'dark' elf, though where the emotionless jade eyes, and rich, lusterless red hair came from was a mystery.

At the moment, she sat quietly, in the Inn of the Prancing Pony. Clearly bored out of her mind, she observed the various people, not noticing anyone in particular. That one- there- with the matted, greasy hair that came down to his shoulders, and the droopy face- he seemed quite drunk. He stumbled about, absently muttering a story under his breathe... From what her keen ears caught, he claimed to have single-handedly killed fifteen-thousand orcs in some mountain cave. She noticed his blood-shot gaze slipping more and more frequently towards a rather attractive young lady, who served the tables while grinning and blushing at his attentions. Rougue scowled, though her scowl went unseen beneath the heavy hood she wore.

She was here because she was bored. After all, running about in the muck while killing passing strangers could only entertain her for so long. She sought adventure. Yes, she knew that it was a rather pathetic endeavor, but she couldn't help it. So she sat in her corner, sipping her ale and being inconspicuous in general, waiting for something to happen- maybe a brawl- so that she might join in. She hated being social, but it was surprising the lengths that boredom can drive a person to do.

Welcome Rougue! Its nice to have someone with your awesome talent on the boards!

Celandine made her way back down to the lobby, if you could call it that, and sat at a table in the far corner, trying to remain unnoticed. A tall elf caught her eye. She found it unusual that an elf would be here, but nothing really ordinary had been happening lately anyways. He looked sort of bewildered, and she wished she could encourage him. But that just wasn't possible. She was trying to refrain from any unwanted attention being drawn to herself, so she decided it would be best to keep wanted attention away as well.

Tanis had left by this time. He was wandering the forest, unaware that bandits lurked in the shadows of some boulders. Suddenly, they attacked. Tanis was too quick at the blade, however, and as one came down, he fell straight to the dusty road with a gash along his upper torso. With his cloak flying in the wind, Tanis stared as five others emmerged from their hiding places.

The elf shook his head, it was pathetic what the world was coming to. Pulling out another sword, the elf stood proud. As soon as the thieves moved in, Tanis's sense kicked in. Thrusting his sword backwards, a dead body fell to the groud. Tanis released his sword and swung back around and killed yet another attacker. Finally they caught on and four of them came at one. They bared only knives, and were poorly trained. Stabbing at him with no accuracy or speed, Tanis retaliated with acute attacks, a slice across the throat, or a blade through the heart.

When all of the thieves lay in a pile around him, Tanis looked up to see a lone man standing on a boulder. He was tall, taller than the rest, and wore a breastblate and some bracings upon his legs. He also bore half a shoulder pad. He held in his hand a twisted sword, and a long knife.

"You fight well, elf, but now I have to pay eight more men to join me! That money is gonna have to come from you."

The man leapt from the rock. and came down hard on Tanis. Using his foot to block Tanis's blade. He struck forward, then moved back...Never losing ground. He kept slicing, but never being hit. Finally, after a half hour. Both the men were tired.

"You are good elf, no one has lasted this long before." Tanis laughed,
"Well, I am holding back." With that, the elf dashed forward, and threw his cloak over the man. Then jumping back, he strung his bow and shot an arrow into the man's head before the cloak could be removed...

Walking up to the dead thief, Tanis spat on him.

"Stupid humans..."

Rougue's keen caught caught the hobbit, and for a minute, she watched. It was unusual for a strange hobbit to be at the Inn... Yet soon, she lost interest. As she looked about herself, she saw nothing. They were all scum, the fools! The wandered around drunkenly, going about their asinine mannerisms, and acting as if they knew everything. Savagely, she cursed them in her mind for being so stupid, then reluctantly turned away from her ale, and wandered off into the forest. Perhaps something of interest might be found therein. If not... She ill-temperedly ground her teeth together.
