Just curious if anyone else has one. Im considering getting the Zune 120. I am an mp3, audiobook and podcast freak. Plus it would help my shift go by a lot quicker at the plant where I work at.

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've Got a White Zune 30, and Love it (And it supports Audible Audio Books

The FM Radio is Ok, I don't use it much though, but I do like that If the Station is sending the Meta Data for the music, I can select "Buy" so I can get a copy of the song from the Store.
But there store itself (For the protected music) I don't care for, but I do love that is supports all my MP3s that I've already got.

I love my Zune. It's a tank. I leave it in my pocket a work and it puts up with the bumps and torment.
The software is like iTunes in that it's big and clunky and annoying. I only ever use it for uploading songs and podcasts.

Actually I got of lucky that day.
I had to go to work & didn't bring my Zune, then after work we had an event to go to, so no Zune either.
Next day when I checked it, it was up & functioning normally.

I did, but didn't worry about it. I either would have ended up with a new Zune from MS or it would have fixed itself, which it did.

i did consider a Zune when my ipod broke but i subsequently go a new one on my house contents insurance. it doesn't seem to have made much of a dent in the ipod's market share, why do you guys think that is. i mean i think the zune does a lot of cool stuff, some things better than the ipod.

Seriously, iPod was the first mainstream market mp3 player that went big with normal consumers, so it became the household name. Tons of soccer moms ask for the Zune iPod, I'm sure. Much like Klenex is the common name for tissues, even if the brand you have isn't Klenex.
The other thing is that Apple is the fad on the market right now. It's a part of pop culture for eliteists and celebrities.

i have both zune and iPod touch. i got i good deal in amazon.
but i like my ipod touch the most cost of the wifi capability. i just listen to online music.

Don't do it! If you ever decide to get a macintosh you can't even connect the Zune to it! So I would probably go with an Ipod.

I've had a Zune 120 for some months now, and I have no complaints. It has a good screen for my video podcasts and lots of space for my growing collection of podcasts and audiobooks (I need things to listen to at work).
