MIchiganders - where do you get your groceries?

I am stuck in a rut. I used to try to always shop at Whole Foods, but my budget just doesn't allow it. I've been mostly shopping at Meijer for everything lately. Today I think I'm going to try a fruit market in Allen Park. Please share where you shop.

well, myself, I work at Meijer few nights a week for 2nd job, so I get a discount there and get most my stuff there, but my mom always shops at Sam's Club where its really cheap

The Spartan stores, because its not so much of a bloodsucking chain as Farmer Jack.

Meijer or Kroger, typically, but if I'm in Lansing, Horrocks and only Horrocks.

My parents shop at Sam's Club, Meijer , or Foodland.

but I LOVE the Uscan stuff at Kroger and Farmer Jacks

I agree. UScan technology is like a Christmas gift to me every time I shop

I usually end up at Meijers, but Whole Foods has the best chicken salad I've ever tasted in my entire life... Hillers market is pretty nice and large. I enjoy Kroger like crazy too. Any 24 hour food joint rocks.

Meijer, I can get groceries, a guinea pig and 12 gauge ammo in one trip.

Hello fellow Michiganders! I try to get as much groceries as possible at Save-A-Lot b/c it really does cut our bill in 1/2. I refuse to buy produce/fruit, etc. from there though and there are just some things (like pet supplies,e tc.) we can't get from there so I do end up doing some of my shopping at Meijer.
