Do you like him? I like his music rather a lot. He's been in a spot of bother of late but that shouldn't detur people from wanting to listen to his music.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, he was a great artist before the 90s. I love his stuff. Personally, I don't care for him much, but personal discretions should be personal, between him and whoever holds their grudge, not for everyone.

I really like Thriller, and everything he did in the 80's. The songs are good without the videos, which to me, is a good thing.
I find it hard not to take into account his recent brain fades. I do however listen to his song with Paul McCartney, "Say, Say, Say" a bunch

Anything with Paul is good. Though, what is bad is the fact that he still owns all the Beatles music, because Paul mentioned that it was good to own copywrites of certain things, and he ended up outbidding Paul for the man's own music.

Lol, the last time I heard from Ringo, he was making fun of himself in a video by having Hanson run up to him, him signing their autographs, then a mob of girls go after Hanson and ignore him. That was about 6-7 years ago.

I don't understand why people say "Jackson's 80's music was great" as though he fell off after Thriller. It must be a cliche like putting "Hotel California" as No. 1 on every single "greatest song of all time" list

Putting his " oddities " aside, he is a fantastic artist. And whatever he has or has not done would not cause me to suddenly dislike his music...that stands on it's own!!

It's not bad-it's just business. If Paul wanted to own copyrights then the Beatles should not have sold them in the first place. Or Paul, with his billions, should have outbid Jackson, or he shouldn't have given the advice to Jackson. That entire episode is funny
Back to the subject though, I do like Jackson's music, but I refuse to help support a person who I believe is a pedophile.
