Godly evening,
I appreciate you taking time to post this message. I can sense that your hurting deeply inside. Please pray for the Lord to take over your pain and add more joy and love into your heart.
If you look at this in a humanistic way, you will be burdened greatly. Rise above the humanistic mindset and gear it unto a more Spiritual mindset. I can understand your hurting, it is
HUMAN nature. But, you can control what emotions you have inside. I hope this does not seem to be a hurtful message. That is not my intention to writing you. I am deeply concerned for Michael, but more for you.
There are many scriptures that will tell you that Michael is not dying, he is living eternally. It is only his flesh that is dying.
John 11:25:
Jesus told her,
"I am the one who raises the dead and gives them LIFE again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live gain"
There are other scriptures that may help you:
1 Corinthians 15
Psalm 23
2 Corinthians 5: 1-9
To try and help you, I would suggest you:
#1 Pray always
#2 Buy a scrapbook
#3 Make memories WITH Michael and places them in the scrapbook. This can be pictures, buy a tape recorder and record his thoughts daily, make each day a happy memory for you and Michael.
#4 If Michael is able, buy him a diary and have him write in his own writing what his thoughts are.
#5 Ask him what his favorite scripture is. And, ask him why.
When Michael goes to his eternal life, you will have him always with you. These are the memories that you made while Michael was still with you. He will never be far. At the final end, you can write a book for yourself or others reflecting Michael's life and what you learned from him.
Both of you are in my prayers
Blessings,
Christian
