IF YOU LIKE THOSE BANDS TRY THEIR CHRISTIAN COUNTERPARTS...ZAO, DEMON HUNTER, DISCIPLE,EAST WEST, EXTOL...IMO all better both in song writing and muscianship then the ones you mentioned.

Being as this is the Christian music forum, you'd have better luck in the secular forum. You may like Extol (not their Synergy stuff) Kekal, Paramecium, Mortification, Soul Embraced, Thy Pain, Vakkevandering, etc. The Christian answers to the death and black metal genres.

I don't think you have heard the bands I mention, if you claim that the other ones have better musicianship. Do you know the level of these bands' technicality?

Many Christians find the bands you posted to be very offensive when it comes to imagery and lyrics.

i HAVE LISTENED TO THEM
Caniabal Corpse has been around for a while. I was in the music industry. A lot of death metal bands in Tampa. all I'm saying is the bands I mentioned are right up there...maybe even Zao is a step above them...don't listen to them because their Christian...listen to them because they are good.

At their roots, they are a hardcore band. They just made a few moves in the metalish direction.

I dont like them that much. I prefer black, death, viking, trash and folk metal.

ever heard demon Hunter? They play them a bit on Headbangers Ball. I think you might enjoy some of their stuff...as a matter of fact...I think I'll que up "Infected" by them as I type.

Ok, not to refuse your suggestion immediately, but I hate headbangers ball. It is not metal, it is pure mallcore ****. They play Nile some times though.
