I love Judas Preist, Dream Theater, Kings X, Metallica, mostly progressive heavy metal.
You forgot Iron Maiden and Megadeth! Those are my two favorites. Dream Theater, the Priest and Motorhead are in there too for sure. I generally like all metal, unless I can't understand what is being said. I'm not really a fan of the 'growling' style. I can only take it in small doses, usually it is Sepultura. I generally like what they sing about.

I could really talk for days about how much I love metal, but I have to study!!!

Does anyone listen to Iced Earth (which totally kick major ace), Blind Guardian, GammaRay, Helloween, Rhapsody, Manowar or anything like that? Something tells me that OldRooster does.

Yes, I think I would consider myself a metalhead. Favorite styles of metal are Heavy/Progressive/Power/Death metal

Favo heavy bands: Metallica, Iced Earth, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Masterplan

Favo prog bands: Dream Theater, Symphony X

Favo power bands: Rhapsody, Stratovarius, Helloween, Kamelot, Edguy, Blind Guardian

Favo death band: Extol (christian deathmetal from Norway)

Besides listening to metal, I also play it: I'm a drummer in my own band, "Unspoken Fantasy", we cover Metallica-songs.

I listen to Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody and Helloween. When we were in Prague a few days ago, I visited a metal bar where they played Gamma Ray, and I liked it. What's their best album?

You could always just take the easy way out and say Best of the Beast.;)

BTW, I wouldn't call Pink Floyd a metal band.
