As a musician, I take great offense. Every "secular" band that I know of, has saved lives and the themes brought within their music has given me a voice. You should understand the lyrics, even if they are screamed. So what if you can't entirely hear them? I wasn't able to, but when I saw the lyrics attached, the picture became clear.
For the sake of example: I will use Different Sense by Dir En Grey (Japanese, but thankfully because I am fluent I can translate fully). The band is criticizing their OWN country - for the many events that have plagued them. From Fukashima and the Japanese Gov't covering it up:

And for the sake of example, Dir En Grey would be a great band for Christians TO listen to! Why?
This band promotes not being harlots (Bugaboo, probably some others) and opposes abortion(Obscure, Giaka Chinmoku, Yokusu Ni Dreambox, Mazohyst of Decadence) AND MANY other themes that even secular bands touch such as love, loss, and other themes that humans feel. So what if they're Japanese - music breaks barriers, culture breaks barriers, that simple. These guys put out amazing music and they do it well. They are in no way Satanic nor have any bad values attached to them, specifically if you analyze their lyrics like I have with an open mind. Screaming does not mean you can't understand, you're too close minded. I could name other bands too that scream: Chelsea Grin, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, Of Mice & Men, Saosin, Whitechapel, and MORE who scream, but all have some of the best themes attached.

You do realize that the Bible does not condemn ANY music? But anyway....
Screaming like a demonized maniac? Refer to the point above as well as to what I say on this:
When you listen to Metal, Deathcore, or any other sub-genre or fusion sub-genre, that is what you're going to get with today's Metal and Rock. Every singer has their unique un-clean vocal, which is beauty in it's self. The genres that represent them are the best outlet - as the many genres express feelings and emotions humans could never fully talk about. Music gives people a real voice, like me. Music gives people a baseline to work with too. I'm going to copy/paste what I had posted awhile back, and you'll understand why "screaming like a demonized maniac" is the best outlet for many people who like different music, and is why screaming is an outlet for emotion and feeling.
So lets go with the bands that have the most momentum and cross genres! I'll post videos too.

Pierce The Veil - Caraphernalia: A song about Ex Girlfriends-Vic Fuentes' in particular. "The last time I saw my ex-girlfriend, she left all kinds of random things behind at my house: travel shampoo, a razor in the shower, hair clips, etc. It was basically just a bunch of stuff that kept reminding me of her. After a while, it made me miss her, and I wondered why we ever broke up in the first place. When I wrote the music for the chorus, I knew right away that I wanted to ask my friend Jeremy McKinnon [of A Day To Remember] to do the screaming parts on the chorus and bridge. A few weeks after I wrote the song, I approached Jeremy with the idea and he agreed to sing on the album. It turned out to be one of my favorite tracks once we collaborated. One of my favorite things to do is make music with my friends. That collaboration makes the songs very special to me."
I'm sure you can connect it and so can many people with ex boyfriends and girlfriends.
Match Into Water: A song about Vic's ex who went through cancer yet died through Chemo. The theme overall as well? Getting through a rough time and Cancer in particular as many of Vic's friends are plagued. I kissed the scars on her skin

The scars meaning the IV's, and how vic cares about the ones he loved and still does. And being on fire? Many people who go through chemo equate it to being lit afire.
Even the album artwork on Collide The Sky is symbolic.
"The theme to the album artwork is jumping off of the ground that is breaking beneath you. The idea is to inspire hope amongst the chaos that may happening around you. If the ground was breaking beneath your feet, your first reaction may be to run and jump to safety, and its that moment where you are suspended in the air that I am focusing on. A still frame where youre not sure if the person is falling or flying. Its about freeing yourself from the things that are breaking or falling apart in your life, and inspiring a sense of hope from the desperation."

"The idea behind this song was to create an evil alternate version of the second coming of Christ. Rather than having a savior come back and wash away all your sins, it's an evil entity that creates an apocalyptic blackened world. As a band, we don't wear a religious label of any sort. We all believe in different things, and we're not knocking anyone's beliefs. The deeper meaning behind it is for people not to [categorize] faith as a "hero or savior" to cleanse away the wrongs of humanity, but rather put faith in themselves and create a world based on the moral conduct of right and wrong. Not base your character, and the way you live your life, in fear of a higher power. Be your own God so to speak."

Society as a whole-being close minded and a strict ruleset. Conformity and viewing what is "right and normal". Don't give in to the majority~

The list of bands and analytic points go on and on for me-this is a small fraction of bands that saved me from myself. For years I dealt with anxiety, depression, and anger management. But music as an outlet combined with playing the drums and finding a life for me helped put my emotions into words with the help of music like this. It shouldn't have to glorify a god unless you're an explicit Christian band. I'm not saying they can't play- I actively listen to Red and The Devil Wears Prada-but they're not the only bands giving amazing lyrics that deal with everyday life and can be on personal levels.
