  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

We have an enormous amount of geese at work because there is a lake in the middle of the campus. they wander everywhere, pooping and fighting with each other. Today two were wandering in the parking lot, I was on my lunch break, and I started honking and quacking at them. They quickly moved in, jumped on the sidewalk and blocked my path, and were hissing at me. I had to go around. Man those bird are jerks.

Oh dear, that sounds like a bit of a mess. We had a goose problem here for a short bit, there was one running around the road and biting people but, thank God, I found out he was someone's pet! I carried the little honker back to his home.

It's because geese are honkers and ducks are quakers and they thought you were insulting them. Geesh, take a gander to see that.

We have a lot of turkeys where I work. They're kinda fun. The Geese on our campus lake can get pretty protective of their young.
I've only been here since October, but from what the other girls tell me, the geese usually hatch some eggs in the courtyard around springtime. There isn't an exit to outside except through the hospital, so when they hatch they're steered through the front doors to outside. I cant wait for that.
