If this is true - then of what service or need is the sacrifice of Messiah?? AND *how* does one "pay" the punishment debt?? Physical "stripes"?YHVH Ori said:I am neshuma, I live in the bawsar, and the ruach keeps me alive in my home (bawsar).
When one dies of the bawsar, they either go to Paradise (Avraham's bosom) or to Prison (Place of torment). Luke 12:48, fair punisment is given; a few stripes to those who deserve a few, and more stripes to does who deserve more. Matthew 18:34-35, their are punished to a certain point; till they have paid for what was due.
P.S. Do not confused Paradise with "the heaven." You do not go straight to "the heaven" when you die of the bawsar.
Excellent Zayit, thank youZayit said:Hi ZemirahDid you know that this same type of question is in GA? Someone must have seen yours and wanted a more "general audience" thoughts and answers.

That's why I asked for Messianics on this thread: I think we Messy's can just lay it all out and talk about what are common Messianic views on everything under the sun (obviously we don't all agree on every detail... I am just saying, "commonly held") and should be able to, without a bunch of people "setting us straight". Besides, I'm here to learn from y'all.![]()
