her first was a justice of the peace wedding
her second was Reform after she went through a Reform conversion
her third was Conservative after she upgraded to a Conservative conversion
her fourth was Orthodox when she went through yet another conversion
(Orthodox).
She should have just converted Orthodox in the first place, it would have
saved a lot of time and effort!

I used to know a Messianic Rabbi who had 7 'wives' all of whom lived with him and with whom he had a number of children. He must be really loony - 7 wives and 7 mothers-in-law!

At least ChavaK's multi-wedding couple just re-married each other.

Not sure, but his first wife's family are not pleased. He refused to give her a Get.

To do such a thing, convert to Judaism to switch again touo Christianity would be a very dishonest thing. If I'm not mistaken, one must renounce any and all spiritual allegiances in the formal conversion process. And you would be swearing this oath in God's name - could you do this knowing it wouldn't be true? Is that something that you could easily rationalize and justify? I couldn't.

Instead why don't you just join us, we are Jews and Gentiles here in Messianic Judaism forums. We are all members of the same family of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! There's room for many more!

Why oh why do we get these "folks" who think they, by their "righteous" words can waltz into a forum of which they know nothing about and then expect us to finally come to our collective senses because they have graced us with their presence?

You don't convert to Judaism to become Jewish, you do it to follow a religion.

If you are already Jewish, it doesn't matter what religion you are, you are still Jewish.

One thing is for sure, I have no desire to become Jewish. I do however have a desire to follow God and if it looks a lot like a Jewish faith in certain areas... in those things we are on the same page.

Me too, when we first became MJ, HaShem made it very clear to me that its good to worship Him in a Jewish way, but I am gentile and thats OK too.
