up to episode 7...the plots can be sharpened a bit, and hopefully the monster-of-the-week element is only for the beginning...but I'm really enjoying it so far. It has great potential IMO.

I am too. I would just like to see some actual character development other than the monster of the week thing. The whole "save Arthur" thing got old after week 4, now it's just like, "save someone, use magic, just don't let anyone know".
There is what looks like 6 more episodes in this season and I want to see some story development! heh

Merlin is cool. But I wonder if our main villain (season 4) is redeemable at this point. I love the addition of the character of Agravaine.

There is word that there might be a 6th season. The show was created with only 5 seasons in mind by the producers and we're headed into that right now, but because of it's popularity, it may be renewed again.
Could be very interesting, I just hope they don't screw it up. I really love this show.
