has anyone ever heard of mending point. I went to camp and they were the praise and worship team that week and i enjyoed their music i was just wondering if anyone ever heard of them

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello,
This is Kevin, bassist of the band Mending Point. I was surfing around and found this thread here about my band and was like 'woah, people talking about my band... weird.' It was kinda strange for me honestly but I'm glad you guys weren't like saying bad stuff about us like we smelled funny or had food stuck in our teeth or something.
It's cool to know that you liked our worship and our music. We're not a 'worship' band in the conventional sense but we love to worship and lead others in worship. Keep digging into the Word and seek out His Truth. It's awesome to read these boards and hear about how God is working in so many lives. I'll be praying for all of you and hope to maybe see some of you soon. Walk with the King and be a blessing!

thanks kev .... thats kool kev thanks alot I never thought that a member of the band would actually respond to my post but ya never know! I heard your band for the first time at starlake music camp and i enjoyed your music. And if ya'll ever smell bad its ok i'll let you know. ; ) but thanks for replying! take care and god bless
