Men only, how would you prefer to die?

This is a sort of follow-on from an earlier poll in this forum entitled "The Choice of How to Die", which should be easily locatable in this forum via Google.

Men, death is inevitable, but if you considered things completely in isolation, i.e. what your answer would be if, hypothetically, the options affected those around you in equal magnitude or not at all, how would you prefer to die?

Obviously, the answers normally would be affected by the effects on those around you, but ignore this for now; maybe I'll do another poll to that effect some other time.

Indeed, though martyrs a few centuries ago were sometimes given the option of wearing a bag of gunpowder round their necks to hasten death, which I assume would have curtailed the suffering.

Either dying during combat (preferably while trying to defend someone/something else), single gunshot to the head, or long terminal illness for me.

Gunshot to the head would be nice. It is kind of messy but it is quite fast. I am surprised that as an option on the poll you never included dying in your sleep. That would be nice!

Gunshot to the head is my top choice. I would want it at such an angle though that at least some of my face would be kept intact.

I'd like to strap myself to high explosives, a safe distance from anyone else who could get hurt, ofc. There would be a two-way camera and display system set up between the blast site and a commercial booth at a mall, where passers-by would be offered a copy of the latest bieber album on pushing the big red button, which would detonate the explosives and send me to kingdom come.

Agreed, hence why I chose the last poll option, though her nationality and occupation are somewhat immaterial. Probably not as early as the wedding night, just in case I'm not that quick at impregnation.

Of all of these, I think I would prefer to either pass away while sick (I think the short-term illness), or get shot, but I think the chest instead of the head.
