Memorizing the Word

Hello~

I was wondering, if there is anyone out there that has a true passion for memorizing scripture. Pslams 119:9-11 How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart, do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, "It is Written: 'Man does live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

Those two particular verses really inspired me to start memorizing scripture, and God has continually blessed me since I have began. With all honestly, it's very nice because when you witness to others, or perhaps they need encouragement, and you don't have your bible with you, you have His word in your heart. I was curious, I know there are, but I was wondering if in specific if there was anyone here that had a passion like this. God Bless!

I don't read with the intention of memorizing it, but if you continually read it, over and over, you'll have it in you, where you and even Holy Spirit can pull it out when need be.

It is a great thing to keep into the Word of God. Continue doing so, and you'll continue to see growth.

I have just discoverd the blessing of memorising one scripture every day...it realy helps me to grow.wile i'm busy memorising the vers,becous your thinking about it all the time it starts to come alive and mean so much mor,God actualy starts to talk to you troug it,and reveals the deeper meaning of it to you,its a real blessing!
