  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

this member accidentally lost his pup. I have enough blesings to snag him from the day care, as this is a 16 year old and with school starting in many places this week, I have the blessings and space on an account to adopt him til the next time this member can sign in and then we can contact him and let him know how to readopt him? what happens then when I adopt him with the 500 blessings? does he get that and then I should put him back out for the same amount and it will come back? I am thinking that whomever lets a pet out for adoption and sets the 'price' then receives that amount when they are adopted right?

any other suggestions? as it is close to the end of the month and with this boy starting school soon, I certainly dont want to have him come back and find his pet was deleted if he dont sign in again til after the end of the month.

Yes, however an owner who puts a pet up for Adoption will not be able to re-adopt the same pet.

We'll see this every once in a while, and while most are "legit", this can be a way for people to get rid of the pet and get their blessings back. Just one of the many things we here need to be aware of:) All we can really do is let them know that we're truely sorry and encourage them to perhaps adopt another.

sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...just put the pet back for the same amount when the old owner is on and you should get your blessings back when they readopt it - or as son as someone else adopts the pet....but normally when they get in touch they really want their pet back - at least I've never seen them not wanting it then....

That is my understanding that if a person adopts that pet after the original owner then he can adopt back that pet.So if you put a pet up for adoption and someone else adopts him then that person puts him up for adoption you can adopt that pet again.

yep..that's the way it works...you always need 1 person adopting and putting up for adoption in between....
