  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Melchizedek lived long before Lucifer was created.

Melchizedek's priestly order has neither beginning of time nor end of days.

The angels were created when God created the heavens and the earth. They are mortal beings locked in chronological time. Lucifer never was in God's timeless heaven.

for me he is the replacement of lucifer who fell
Melchizedek is the king of Salem.

The city of Salem according to Josephus and the Aramic translations of the Bible, later becomes the city Jersalem.

Looking at the name of the city more carefully, Jeru SALEM.

Abraham tithes to one greater than himself.

Who could possibly be greater than Abraham in the Old Testament?

The genealogy of Melchizedek is non-existent even though he is a priest of God Almighty.

Possibly the shadow priesthood that is later fulfilled by the Divine, Great High Priest. Since both Melchizedek and Jesus both have a priesthood not defined by the law. Abraham is reckoned righteous apart from the law and Melchizedek is the king of righteousness apart from the law.

Melchizedek brought with him, bread and wine, when he met Abraham to bless him. (Genesis 14:18)

The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” (Psalm 110:4)

I like your comment about the King of Salem compared to JeruSALEM.

How can you know the magnitude of Abraham? There are only a few lines of text about him in the Bible. He sent a posse after some bandits who stole his property and took some of his people captive. Abraham surrounded them and made them release the captives and give back his property, then he let them go. It is a type of person I learned about. As for detailed historical records, they are lacking.

Who can discern this statement?
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I am. (World English Bible)

definitely not ... he (Melchizedek) is described as a priest of God almighty.

Satan/Lucifer is certainly no priest.

Hebrews 5:6
And in another passage God says: "You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."
